Jennifer Pedranti shared where she stands with her Real Housewives of Orange County costars, and how her boyfriend Ryan Boyajian is handling her contentious divorce. The star also shaded Tamra Judge’s treatment of Shannon Beador after her DUI.
At the beginning of the season, Jennifer faced off against Gina, a real estate agent who helped her find a rental home without a credit check. After Jennifer’s eviction, Gina claimed her costar damaged her career and reputation.
On the “Chanel in The City” podcast, Jennifer addressed where she stands with Gina now that the season’s over.
“Gina’s awesome. I didn’t see her side [at the time of our drama],” said Jennifer. “When things started falling apart [with] living in that house, I was in constant contact with the homeowner. So I was trying to alleviate Gina from my mess. Little did I know it was causing her more of a problem.”
Jennifer claimed they both admitted where they were wrong. Now, the costars are back to being friends, and they recently spent time together outside of filming.
She said the cast also “started seeing” how good Ryan is to Jennifer and her kids – despite their questions about him last season. Addressing her divorce and co-parenting relationship with her ex-husband Will, Jennifer claimed it’s “frustrating” for Ryan because “divorce sucks.”
According to Jennifer, her co-parenting relationship with her ex feels “chaotic” because she doesn’t know what to expect. But she hopes they can find “healing” when they finalize the divorce.
As for her relationship with Tamra, Jennifer shared that she herself “placed more value” on the friendship than Tamra did. She still isn’t sure what she or Ryan did to elicit such bashing from her.
But she’s no longer interested in understanding why Tamra does what she does.
Concerning her friendship with Emily, the star said she hopes Emily will accept her friendship so they can move on. Earlier in the season, Emily trashed her for seemingly relying on Ryan for financial help.
Jennifer also addressed how difficult it was to navigate her relationships with Alexis Bellino and Shannon, who feuded amid John Janssen‘s lawsuit. John, who once dated Shannon but is now engaged to Alexis, sued Shannon for $75,000.
“Their problems cannot make me choose a side,” she said. “It’s not fair.”
But Jennifer defended Shannon’s choice to occasionally drink after the DUI. The star said only Shannon is responsible for her choices – and suggested that Tamra (who slammed Shannon continually throughout the season over her drinking) should mind her own business.
Jennifer hinted that she doesn’t “know” if she herself will be asked back next season, but she “hope[s] so.”
