The Valley proves that what happens in the guys’ chat does not always stay in the guys’ chat. A nasty rumor makes its way back to Michelle, and it all stems from, you guessed it, Jesse. Brittany is forced to put on a brave face despite Jax‘s recent check-in to the mental health facility, and Janet attempts to celebrate her birthday despite the drama unfolding around her…
Jason, the saint, has just come back from dropping Jax off at the mental health facility. After realizing that his actions may keep him from seeing his son, Cruz, Jax knew this had to be done. Janet and Michelle rally around Brittany and listen to her woes about Jax’s manipulative, charming personality. Brittany tries her best to be brave around Cruz, and she realizes that now it is time to protect her son. Michelle suggests that Brittany “file tomorrow and don’t look back” since this is bound to get messy.
The unlikely friendship between Jesse and Kristen continues to grow. Jesse has set up a tea party for Kristen and Luke, and they discuss the recent white party drama where Michelle threatened to have full custody of their daughter. Despite the papers already being signed, Jesse has a big interest in Michelle’s infidelities during their marriage.
Jesse has a theory that Michelle was cheating and believes it was with her current boyfriend, Aaron. The signs point to it. Aaron’s honey company has been in their cabinet for the last two years. Michelle would “hike” in full glam, sans wedding ring, on a trail very close to Aaron’s house. Kristen loves this hot tea, and Jesse explains that he is almost positive Michelle’s cheating was with Aaron based on this timeline.
In other news, Jesse is planning a group trip to Santa Barbara. He wants to extend an invite to Michelle AND Aaron, which should be… awkward… and Kristen offers to help him plan a fun time. This is interrupted by Kristen’s phone ringing. It is Janet inviting Kristen to her Dave and Buster’s birthday party. This comes as a shock to Kristen since things are weird after Janet’s half-a*sed apology, so Kristen is unsure what she will do.
Kristen is still on her baby-making journey. She opens up about her pregnancy loss last year and has been following Nia‘s recommendation to get fertility acupuncture done. Nia comes with since she knows a thing or two about “unexplained infertility.” She swears that acupuncture helped her get pregnant after trying for over a year and a half. Hopefully, this works for Kristen, too (spoiler alert: we KNOW it works for Kristen — wink, wink).
While the girls do their things, Danny and Luke hold down the fort with the kiddos. Luke explains that after being with Kristen for over two years, he might be ready to propose. Luke feels comfortable sharing this secret with Danny.
Speaking of secrets, Danny discusses the boys’ chat of about 20 guys, minus Jason, cuz he has an Android. LOL. There’s an unspoken rule that whatever happens in the chat, stays in the chat, but Danny seems to have forgotten that. He whispers to Luke (as if the cameras cannot pick up on it) that Jesse texted, “I have evidence that she’s [Michelle] sleeping with a billionaire for $1,500 a night.” Say, what?! So much for keeping everything in the group chat, huh? Luke is astounded by this…
Jason and Jesse meet for some coffee. They chat about Zack and about Danny’s drinking. According to Jason, Danny has been laying off the sauce after drunkenly telling Jasmine to “get daddy a drink” and then grabbing Jasmine’s girlfriend’s butt. It is a bit shocking and hopefully a wake-up call for Danny.
Over at Brittany’s rental house, Kristen, Luke, and Zack arrive. Kristen and Luke have decided to attend Janet’s party, but Zack was not invited. Zack thinks that Janet is scheming up something. Luke can hardly hold in the guys’ group chat information and shares the disturbing text that Danny told him about. Even Kristen, who does not like Michelle, realizes that Jesse should probably not accuse his soon-to-be ex-wife of being a hooker.
Janet is amped for her Dave and Buster’s birthday party, and the gang arrives. Michelle is there with her bf, Aaron. Jesse avoids her, but not before Michelle throws shade about him not allowing her to wear makeup when they were married.
While Janet goes to play some games, Brittany pulls Nia and Michelle aside to talk about the group chat rumor that Luke shared earlier. Michelle calls Jesse a horrible person for saying that she is sleeping with a man for $1,500 a night and claims that all Jesse wants is revenge.
The ladies waste no time and call Danny over to confirm the group chat rumor. Danny looks like he saw a ghost, as there is no hiding and there is no denying this. Danny admits that this was said and blames Luke for blabbing, yet he seemingly has forgotten that he shared this IN FRONT of the cameras.
Understandably, Michelle becomes very upset and goes on to share that Jesse is the broke one who doesn’t pay her one dollar of child support. When Luke arrives, he knows right away that the rumor has made its way to Michelle.
Danny is busy trying to play damage control and warns Jesse that Luke spilled the beans about the Michelle rumor. Jesse claims it was a joke and wonders if there is a mole in the group chat. He has a theory that Danny is the one sharing, but Danny denies he is the mole… although he did “mole-like activity” in this instance.
When Janet asks what is going on, Jesse does what he does best and blames Luke for starting the drama. The reality is, Jesse is the one who started all of this in the group chat. The issue is NOT Luke or Danny gossiping about what was said, but rather that Jesse said the messed-up things about Michelle in the first place!
In a fit of emotion, Michelle comes up with a plan for Santa Barbara so she can go on the trip peacefully. She makes everyone vote on having Jesse stay in a hotel so she can stay in the house. This is so messy. The usual suspects side with Michelle, but Kristen and Nia remind Michelle that Jesse is the one who actually rented the house. Yes, Jesse might have insinuated that Michelle is an escort, but they remain #teamJesse when it comes to this banishment.
Jesse keeps his cool, calling Michelle immature. Michelle bemoans the fact that her friends are not siding with her and claims that Jesse is “by far worse than Jax.” All she wants is her friends to have her back, and she can hardly hold it together as Janet blows out her candles. So much for a fun time at Dave and Buster’s…
