Jesse Solomon Shares Where He Stands With Imrul Hassan, Teases “Beef” at Upcoming Reunion, and Addresses Being “Hated On” by Fans amid Drama with Lexi Wood

Jesse Solomon shared where he stands with Imrul Hassan, teased “beef” at the upcoming Summer House reunion, and addressed getting “hated on” by fans.

In the current season, Jesse developed a romance with castmate Lexi Wood. Though it started off strong, he seemed to hide the extent of it with castmates, suggesting she was clingy. At one point in the romance, he entered the room of Imrul, who was allegedly having a threesome with two women. Though Jesse claimed he simply got his toe sucked, footage showed that he was in the room for 37 minutes.

In an interview for The Blast, Jesse addressed where he stands with Imrul.

“We spent some time together, but not a ton,” said the star, who confessed that Imrul isn’t one of his “best friends.”

“We did beef a little bit,” he went on, noting that fans will “see it play out on the reunion.” Jesse was then asked if the beef was related to toe-gate. “[Hassan] admitted that he dared me to get my toe sucked,” Jesse answered. “Nothing else happened. So, those are all facts.”

He then suggested that Imrul had weaker relationships with their co-stars.

“I’m not going to say what he did was right or wrong, but when I came to the house, I just wanted to become friends with everyone,” said Jesse. “That was my main focus … I wasn’t trying to really date anybody in the house or out of the house. I was just kinda like, let me get to know these people.”

Jesse also addressed Ciara and Paige’s confrontation with Imrul when they challenged his decision to bring back so many visitors to the house.

“I think the girls’ issue with [Hassan] is he was like, ‘I wanna have a relationship with you guys,’ but then his actions were different than the words coming out of his mouth,” said Jesse. “At that point in the summer, like he and I were beefing a little bit, so I wasn’t super upset to see the girls go after him.”

As for the recently filmed reunion, Jesse said he feels “at peace with what happened,” even though he wasn’t “excited” about it. “I feel like I took accountability for anything that I did that was messed up,” he said. “[I’m] trying to learn from it and be better.”

In a separate interview for OK! Magazine, Jesse addressed how filming has ended.

“I’m relieved that it’s over,” he said. “I took accountability for anything that I did wrong. I think the worst of it is hopefully over for me.”

Jesse indicated that watching the show is sometimes “cringeworthy,” and he doesn’t read comments about himself on social media anymore.

“As much of a narcissist as people think I am, I actually don’t like watching the show,” said the star. “Nobody likes to be hated on. It’s not normal for the human brain to read negative stuff about yourself on the internet. So that’s why I’ve officially retired from the comments section.”

“Hopefully, people don’t think it’s so bad,” Jesse went on. “It’s a show, right? There needs to be storylines and drama, and I sure gave them that … I don’t know how the reunion’s gonna look when it airs compared to sitting there … I don’t feel like we spent a proportionate amount of time on relationship drama as the show did … It wasn’t like the Housewives where they’re all screaming at each other.”
