With Aaron Rodgers’ future up in the air he had some interesting comments regarding NFL owners.
After complimenting the Detroit Lions ownership during his weekly chat on the “Pat McAfee Show,” his bosses of his current team were brought up at his presser at One Jets Drive a day later.
Rodgers’ response was interesting.
“Is that a rhetorical question?” Rodgers started out.
“I cited an example I’ve seen,” Rodgers said. “But I think it’s an important part of ownership to hire the the right guys, set the vision, and support them when the outside world is trying to tear them down.”
In terms of ownership in New York…
“I’d have to look,” Rodgers said. “I’ll ask you guys, has there been a lot of public comments, supportive comments?”
It’s a type of Rodgers statement that needs to be examined for yourself. Was Rodgers being negative toward the Woody Johnson ownership in New York?
He has stated he’d like to be with the Jets in the future if he keeps playing. Another curveball.
