The New York Jets did not have a day to remember against the Miami Dolphins (6-7) in Week 14… but Garrett Wilson did.
Despite the 32-26 overtime loss for the Jets (3-10), their star wide receiver shined against one of the NFL’s best on Sunday.
In the outing, Wilson had a team-high 114 receiving yards on seven catches. According to NFL Next Gen Stats, a chunk of those came with All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey and coverage and Wilson got the upperhand.
The football analytics outlet reported that Wilson caught four of his six targets while Ramsey was covering him. Wilson had 97 yards around Ramsey, the most Ramsey has allowed in seven years.
