Bachelor Nation saw Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple fall in love and get engaged on the very first season of “The Golden Bachelorette.”
Since their time on the show, the two have been keeping fans updated on their new life together online, often posting about travel adventures, home projects, and quality time spent with their loved ones.
This week, the two took to social media to answer fan questions about their upcoming plans as a couple.
Chock started off their Q&A video by saying, “Big shout-out to Joan. She came into Wichita this weekend because I had refractive eyelid replacement surgery for the second time in my right eye. Joan came in to take care of me and I’m a little cranky, but it’s all good. I can’t see out of my right eye right now and it hurts.”
Joan called him “a trouper” as they answered fan questions while Chock recovered.
Fans asked Joan what her favorite spot to hang out at while visiting Chock and she said, “I love all of Chock’s friends’ places, but I think I love hanging out at the Wichita Country Club. It’s pretty nice. A lot of good times.”
The two also discussed their upcoming travel plans, with Joan saying, “We have a lot. The next fun vacation we’re taking together is we’re going to Punta Cana for a few days and we’re going to meet in New York right before that.”
Chock also added that he is going to Los Angeles soon for a reunion with some of the “Golden Bachelorette” guys.
The couple also revealed that they haven’t planned their special Disney trip yet, but they are still planning on going soon.
Joan said that “it’s a lot to coordinate” trying to match up schedules for 15 family members and little kids.
