Keeping it real.
The highly anticipated Season 10 of “Bachelor in Paradise” just premiered with a brand-new look.
For the first time, the show is located in Costa Rica, at the Azura Beach Resort, which is completely different from “BIP” in Mexico.
Bachelor Nation quickly noticed the new “BIP” style and took to social media to share their thoughts.
Former Golden Bachelorette Joan Vassos posted a video online talking about the first episode and revealed that she can’t get enough of the new look.

“I’m obsessed. I absolutely loved the new re-engineered version of the show,” she shared. “I know they have a new showrunner this year, I know a lot of people on it obviously, and I was really excited to see if they were gonna make some significant changes. And they did! And all so, so, so good!”
Joan then listed the new elements she loved about the show, including the new location.
“They’re in Costa Rica and they’re at a beautiful resort, and I think it was the game changer. Because in the old resort, even though it was beautiful, I feel like everybody was really lethargic all the time because I think they were hot,” she said. “This place has changed all that. They have air conditioning and there is so much more energy. The contestants are happy to be out and with each other and they’re not struggling to get up and interact, so that was huge… I recommend ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ not because I know the people on it, but because it’s a really freaking good show.”

Former “BIP” cast member Thomas Jacobs also shared his thoughts on the new look, while giving a 60-second “out of context” recap of the episode.
He admitted, “Final thoughts: I miss the quirkiness but I’m enjoying this for what it is. I’ll personally have a bias and I’ll always love the beach. So, Sayolita, I love you. Costa Rica, we’ll see.”
Kaity Biggar asked followers on her Instagram Story how they felt about the new changes and received a mixture of opinions.
She said, “Such mixed reviews!! I’m hoping we have a love story by the end of this! 🤞I do like the new editing… I’m digging it tbh! I’m seeing a lot of hate about it 🤣 But we needed a revamp!!”
