Joe Giudice knows what it’s like to serve time. However, he does not know what it feels like to receive a pardon, unlike Todd Chrisley and his wife, Julie Chrisley.
When this Real Housewives of New Jersey alum went away, Joe served out his sentence. Then Joe found himself living outside the States, thanks to his deportation. Now, Joe is living in the Bahamas, where he recently spoke out about the former Chrisley Knows Best stars’ stroke of good luck via their pardons.
Joe Giudice gives Savannah Chrisley “props” for “pressing” President Donald Trump
Following Joe’s conviction for bankruptcy fraud and tax evasion, Joe headed to prison. He served out his entire sentence before his release.

In contrast, Todd received a 12-year prison sentence for bank and tax fraud. Meanwhile, Julie received a seven-year sentence. However, only two years into their terms, Todd and Julie got themselves a pardon. And while many might feel annoyed that they failed to receive the same literal get-out-of-jail-free card, Joe has nothing but props to share with this family.
In an interview with Fox News, Joe explained that he gives “a lot of props to Savannah [Chrisley],” who fought hard behind the scenes for their release. “I mean, she worked hard, and she did everything she had to do,” he stressed, noting that “it worked, right? I mean, she pardoned her parents, and you’ve got to give her props for that. And look, I mean, they got a harsh sentence. I mean, they got a harsh sentence for exercising their rights, Joe added.”
“What Savannah did was the right thing,” Joe claimed. “She kept pressing for the pardon, and she got it. That was the only way to do it.” Overall, Joe feels “very happy for the Chrisleys.”
