JoJo Siwa is already thinking about marriage, just weeks after confirming her relationship with Chris Hughes.
In an interview with TMZ, the “Dance Moms” alum gushed about her boyfriend, calling their connection “lovely” and “beautiful.”
“It kind of radiates,” Siwa told the outlet during a night out in West Hollywood. “He’s my favorite person and I’m very grateful and very happy.”
The singer also admitted that she considers a potential marriage to Hughes, adding that she has been thinking about it a lot lately.
“So many thoughts,” Siwa said, referring to the idea of getting married to Hughes.
JoJo Siwa Picked Out Her Best Man Already
Interestingly, Siwa has always been open about future wedding plans, even before her romance with Hughes. In a 2023 interview with Bustle, she revealed she already had a best man in mind, “The Bachelorette” alum Tyler Cameron.
“He’ll be probably the best man at my wedding,” Siwa said at the time. “The best part about being gay is you can have the best man and a maid of honor.”
Siwa and Cameron first met while filming “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” Season 2.
Fans React to Siwa & Hughes’ Potential Marriage
Siwa’s comments about potentially marrying Hughes sparked mixed reactions online. While some fans were supportive, others were more critical of the idea.
One fan commented on Reddit, “She looks utterly in love. She glows. I’m happy for her. Can you imagine her wedding dress? I think she will be stunning.”
Another wrote, “In the Big Brother house, JoJo joked about showing their future kids the footage and telling them ‘this is how we met!’ It’s all coming together!”
Meanwhile, some fans expressed concern over how quickly the relationship seems to be moving.
One fan noted, “Relationship hopping. Really should spend some time solo and getting to know herself and trust her independence before all of this.”
Another chimed in, “She is infatuated. Understandably so. But don’t move too fast, especially into marriage.”
A worried fan also noted, “No omg please take a breath! Don’t jump from one relationship to another!”
In a June interview with The Guardian, Siwa confirmed that her relationship with Hughes was no longer platonic.
It’s not platonic anymore, and it’s been a beautiful development, a beautiful connection, and I’m absolutely head over heels for him and he’s the same way.
Prior to dating Hughes, Siwa was in a relationship with Kath Ebbs, who identifies as non-binary.
