Josh Allen Praised for What He Did After Beating the Ravens On Sunday

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen had to sweat it out, but he avenged his team’s 35-10 Week 4 loss to the Baltimore Ravens at Highmark Stadium in Sunday’s AFC divisional-round playoff matchup.

After two Tyler Bass fourth-quarter field goals, the Bills held an eight-point lead, but the problem was Ravens QB Lamar Jackson still had three minutes and 29 seconds to work with.

Jackson and the Ravens drove methodically down the field, covering 88 yards in eight plays. The MVP front-runner hit big passes of 27 yards and 19 yards before hitting tight end Isaiah Likely on a 24-yard strike to pull Baltimore within two points.

And for a brief second, it looked like the Ravens were about to tie the game. Jackson lobbed a perfectly placed pass into the hands of tight end Mark Andrews who was wide open in the right corner of the end zone.

But Andrews bobbled the ball and let it slip out of his hands along with the Ravens’ season as he fell backward and out of bounds. A failed onside kick and two Allen kneel-downs later and the Bills had punched their ticket to their second AFC championship game since 2020.

As the final second were ticking off the clock, the first thing Allen did was seek out Jackson and give him an embrace in a classy gesture between MVP-caliber signal-callers — one that earned Allen plenty of praise on social media.

“Josh Allen is the classiest dude, a fun spirit, & a competitor. He is a good sport. I’m grateful,” one fan stated.

“Love my QB, so classy. This is the kind of respect that these two men have deserved from everyone all year. GO BILLS!” another fan replied.

“I’m a Pats fan but I’m so rooting for JA 17 and the Bills,” one user wrote.

“That’s the kinda class you gotta love, (Patrick) Mahomes could never,” a second user quipped.

“Even as a Dolphins fan I still got a lot of respect Josh Allen,” remarked another.

“It’s always about the winning mindset…great sportsmanship Josh,” one fan commented.
