Back in November, Josh Allen and famous actress Hailee Steinfeld revealed that they were engaged. Since then, Steinfeld has become an integral part of the Buffalo Bills fanbase, speaking highly of how they’ve welcomed her with open arms over the past season, and it just so happened to be Allen’s best year of his career.
The star quarterback led the Bills to a 13-4 record, the AFC Championship Game, and totaled an impressive 40 touchdowns—28 through the air and 12 rushing.
With all of his successes this season, he was recognized at the NFL Honors as the Most Valuable Player. A tremendous honor for a player who has remained one of the best in the league since being drafted in 2018.
Following the announcement, his fiancée, who was sitting right next to him and his parents, was seen getting emotional as she watched Allen walk up on stage to give his speech, during which he recognized her as a vital part of his success.
"Last but not least, my fiancée, Hailee, who’s been my rock." Allen said. "You’re my best friend, and I would not be standing up here on this stage if it weren’t for you,"
This award is more than deserving to go to Josh Allen. It marks the first of his NFL career and makes him the first QB to win it in Bills' franchise history. He continues to cement his legacy within the organization, and his career still has so much left to give.
Less than two weeks ago, you could see the heartbreak on Allen and all the Bills players' faces after they lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game. Now, just 11 days later, Allen gets to share a special moment with his future wife and his family on a national stage as the 2024 NFL MVP.
