It’s been about four months since Kail Lowry‘s engagement to her fourth baby daddy Elijah Scott blew up following a girl coming forward on TikTok and claiming she slept with Elijah on a cruise in 2024. In the months since CruiseGate, Kail’s been relatively quiet (for her) and cryptic about their breakup and where their relationship currently stands.
However, in a recent interview on Lala Kent‘s Give Them Lala podcast, Kail opened up about life post-CruiseGate and discussed what it’s like co-parenting with four of her exes.
“I get a lot of s**t [from the public] for leaving my kids’ dads, because I left all of them,” she told Lala.
Kail also revealed that Elijah is back to living next door. (As The Ashley reported, Elijah owns the home next to Kail– which is how they met— and had moved into Kail’s home and rented his out while they were together.) Kail stated that, now, she will put their kids in a wagon and take them over to his house for his parenting time.
“Wow, you’ve got it really figured out!” Lala told Kail. “I guess when you’ve been [coparenting] for so long, you really have it down to a science.”
“It’s chaotic, but I don’t know any different,” Kail replied. “This is what I know. This is what my kids know. So, I’m sure there’s some level of trauma that my kids are going to experience and look back on.”
Kail also discussed her dating situation, stating that she is “absolutely not” trying to date right now and that she’s not open to dating in the future. (This is, of course, very opposite of what her ex-husband Javi Marroquin claimed last month when he went Live on Instagram and blasted Kail for various things, including for allegedly planning to move her latest alleged boyfriend— whose name is Isaac— into her home with her kids. Kail has never directly addressed Javi’s claim and hasn’t confirmed or denied it.)
During her interview with Lala, though, Kail stated that she does not need a man.
“I think that’s what people get really upset about,” Kail said. “I’m not a victim of my circumstances when it comes to men. I’m not going to stay where it doesn’t serve me any longer and it takes a lot to impress me.”
Kail stated that she doesn’t need anything from a man because she already has everything she needs and does it all herself.
“And if I can’t do it, I can hire someone to do it so I don’t need a man to come forward and come into my life and do the things,” she said. “I don’t need it.”
She said that her pesky habit of getting pregnant almost immediately upon dating someone new is also something she considered before having her fallopian tubes removed after the birth of her twins
“There’s not a lot of dating before I get pregnant, usually,” Kail stated.
“Really? So, it’s kind of like, ‘We’ve seen each other a few times and now we’re stuck together forever?'” Lala asked.
“That’s pretty much how it worked with Elijah,” Kail— who has stated in the past that she got pregnant with Rio the first time she and Elijah went to Poundtown.
Still, though, Kail insists that she doesn’t have as many notches on her headboard as fans may assume.
“Contrary to popular belief, I actually can count on both hands how many people I’ve slept with,” Kail said. “They think because I have kids with four men that I am our here galivanting around. Not true at all. I just fall in love so fast and I think that I get pregnant right away.
“…that’s the bigger problem. It’s not the babies, it’s the dads that I have to deal with!” she continued.
Lala— who shares her daughter Ocean with her ex Randall Emmett— was curious what it was like for Kail to juggle so many co-parents.
“I know what it’s like to have a baby daddy,” she said. “What is it like having— you have four of them right?”
Kail— who shares son Elliott with Jo Rivera; son Lincoln with Javi; sons Lux and Creed with Chris Lopez; and babies Rio, Verse and Valley with Elijah— told Lala that she only considers herself to have three baby daddies– and an ex-husband.
“My ex-husband was never a baby daddy,” Kail declared. “…Never was, never will be. He’s my ex-husband.”
Lala— who, unlike the rest of us actually has a life and has obviously not been following the Saga of K-avi for the past decade or so— asked Kail if she and Javi have a “good relationship.”
“Not saying there weren’t trying times, but through it all we have always maintained Lincoln’s best interest,” Kail insisted. “No matter how many personal issues got in the way, or how convoluted everything got, him and I always maintained what’s in the best interest of Lincoln.”
“I would say that is a healthy and thriving co-parenting relationship,” Lala told her.
Kail’s statement is confusing, given Javi’s rant on Instagram Live on June 2 where he absolutely unleashed on her, making it clear that they are very much not in a good place. (It is possible that this podcast episode was recorded before June 2, however. If that is the case, then Kail’s answer would make more sense, given that she and Javi had been on seemingly decent terms in the months leading up to Javi’s rant.)
Lala also wanted to know how Kail handles having seven kids and four baby daddies.
Kail explained that in the state that she lives— Delaware— parents usually get 50/50 custody, unless they agree otherwise. She stated that she has that arrangement with Jo and Javi, but has a “90/10” split with Chris— where she has Creed and Lux 90 percent of the time– because of how “toxic” her relationship with Chris was.
“He also lives out of state, so he can’t necessarily have 50/50,” Kail said, adding that when Creed and Lux go to Chris’ house, it’s on the same weekends that Isaac and Lincoln are with their dads, too.
Lala— who, last year gave birth to her second daughter Sosa— told Kail that she chose to use a sperm donor the second time around so she didn’t have to deal with another baby daddy. (In March, Lala claimed that she and Randall are finally in a good place in their co-parenting relationship, but the exes had been in a nasty custody battle for years before that.)
“I was so traumatized by the experience of co-parenting and, just, his presence on the planet was triggering to me, and I was like, ‘I am getting a sperm donor.’ So my second daughter, there is no dad involved.”
Kail went on to talk about how she has to parent each of her kids differently, due to who their dad is.
“What I know about Jo and his parenting style, and what I know about Javi and his parenting style, I think they’re all very different,” she said. “It’s the child and the other co-parent. Because if you co-parent or discipline or do something the other co-parent doesn’t like, that could put you in a whole other situation that you never even thought of.”
Kail said the task of parenting each kid differently is “sort of difficult,” although she said she no longer has to communicate with Jo at all, due to their son being 15 years old.
“I don’t speak to Jo about anything, for any reason,” Kail said. “…there’s nothing I really have to say to him at this point…if I needed to text him I would, but I just don’t have to.”
She went on to talk about how all of her kids— except for Lincoln, whom she conceived while married to Javi— were “Oopsie Babies.”
“They were all ‘pleasant’ surprises, I would say, with the exception of Number 4,” Kail said.
“Number 4” is Creed– who was born in July 2020. Kail has been open with the fact that she had planned to have an abortion, but wasn’t able to go through with it after arriving to have the procedure.
“It was a very toxic time,” Kail said. “Creed, Number 4, was the most trying time in my life. That was a very difficult decision because I did contemplate possibly terminating the pregnancy. But I’m so glad that he’s here and I’m so glad that I decided not to.”
Speaking of pregnancies, Kail told Lala that she had “instant regret” after having her fallopian tubes removed after the 2023 births of twins Valley and Verse.
“I know it’s crazy, and people think I already lost my mind three kids ago– maybe even four kids ago— but I don’t know if it’s mental illness. I don’t know if it’s biological. I don’t know. I had instant regret,” Kail said. “I know there’s always IVF but then it’s like, how selfish can I…I don’t know!
“Do I want more kids? The complicated answer to that is, I would have more kids if I could,” Kail stated.
“Wow!” Lala said. “You’re a savage!”
Later in the podcast, Kail stated that— other than dealing with all of the assorted baby daddies— the hardest thing about having seven kids is time management.
“I do really love to spend one-on-one time with all of the kids, in addition to family [time with] all of us together,” she said. “And I never want anybody to think that I don’t make sure that each of my kids has that. It is important, no matter if you have one kid, if you have five kids, if you have 10 kids, that one-on-one time, even if it’s just five or 10 minutes that we carve out every single day, that is challenging. Because I know that these six kids need me right now, but this individual child needs me for 10 minutes undivided so I think that’s the hardest part.”
