Kailyn Lowry isn’t holding back. The Teen Mom 2 alum took to social media this weekend to call out her ex, Javi Marroquin, after he failed to show up to their son Lincoln’s soccer game. But that wasn’t the only reason for her frustration — Kail also fired back at Javi for a recent Instagram Live, where he aired out personal details about their past relationship and ongoing co-parenting issues.
In a series of pointed Instagram stories and tweets, Kail slammed Javi for prioritizing social media over showing up for Lincoln. “Imagine having time to go live and spill drama but not enough time to be there for your son,” she wrote. Fans quickly rallied to her side, with many criticizing Javi’s decision to make their private matters public.
The Instagram Live in question was anything but subtle. Javi addressed his strained relationship with Kail, hinted at conflicts with her current partner, and even suggested that Kail was intentionally keeping him out of important family decisions. “I just want to be involved,” he claimed during the stream. But according to Kail, actions speak louder than words.
In her response, Kail mocked the IG Live, sarcastically calling it “a performance,” and hinted that Javi was more interested in attention than accountability. “Lincoln notices who’s there and who’s not,” she added. “That’s all that matters to me.”
This isn’t the first time the former couple has clashed publicly. Kail and Javi, who divorced in 2017, have long struggled to maintain a stable co-parenting relationship, despite their shared love for Lincoln. While both have expressed a desire to put their son first, their communication — and frequent public fallouts — often tell a different story.
Fans of Teen Mom know this isn’t new territory for Kail, who’s been outspoken about setting boundaries and protecting her kids from toxic dynamics. Her latest callout serves as another reminder that, for her, showing up matters more than saying the right things online.
As for Javi, he’s yet to respond publicly — but if history repeats itself, this co-parenting clash may not be the last we hear of it.
