Kailyn Lowry Shares Cheeky Responses to Criticisms of Her Parenting While Enjoying a Family Lake Vacation

Kailyn Lowry is tired of criticisms of her parenting.

The podcaster, 33, shared photos from her family lake vacation near her hometown, on Pennsylvania's Lake Wallenpaupack. The mom of seven is enjoying the trip with her oldest, 15-year-old Elliott, as well as sons Lux and Creed, 7½ and 4½.

Lowry shared a set of uncaptioned photos, as well as a set of photos that each had a snarky caption addressing naysayers who criticize the mom's ability to spend quality time with all of her kids while also pursuing her career.

In a photo where she smiles with the three boys, she writes, "the nanny and all the kids."

Another photo shows her and Lux posing on a boat, where she writes, "being neglectful and pretending to be present."

"Posting to make myself look like a good mom but I'm not," she said along with a picture of the younger boys playing cards with a friend.

The last shot shows Creed proudly holding a fish he caught. She wrote, "the around the clock nanny took this."

In addition to online trolls, Lowry as also recently experienced discord with ex Javi Marroquin, who called her "calculated" in what she posts online regarding her children.

Addressing this among other accusations that came in a minutes-long Instagram Live last month on her podcast Coffee Convos, Lowry said, in part, "I think he went Live for like, 11 minutes or something like that. The amount of details that he left out about the entire situation — of ALL the situations he listed out — diabolical."

Lowry previously talked about the importance of spending quality time with each of her kids. The podcaster is mom to twins Verse and Valley, 20 months, and toddler son Rio, 2½, with Elijah Scott. She shares Creed and Lux with ex Chris Lopez, 11-year-old son Lincoln with Marroquin, and Isaac with ex Jo Rivera. 

"It's really, really important to me to give them each their individual time, but also time as a family. Where I can, I make sure that I do a lot of things with my older kids," Lowry told PEOPLE in Sept. 2024.

She adds, "As much as we love the babies, babies change schedules. We have to do nap time and feedings and we can't go certain places past 7:00 p.m. And so I make sure that with my partner, who is an equal partner, we're on the same page about understanding that I need to make time for my older kids."

This has been especially important to the mom since adding her three youngest to the family. She noted, "I want my teenagers and my tweens to know they matter. Isaac, Lincoln, Lux, Creed, they need to know that they're important, too, and that our house and our dynamic wouldn't be the same without them or their milestones. I want them to feel all of their needs are being met, so that's just something that we've always put at the forefront of everything."
