Kailyn Lowry has been featured on MTV’s series for more than a decade now. Over the course of the years, we’ve met all of her boyfriends and friends but some vital family members weren’t so keen on showing up.
Kailyn’s relationship with her family
Besides Kailyn’s friends and her own children, there hasn’t been much said about her mom or dad. In a recent Q&A session, Kailyn revealed that her relationship with her mother is strained to the point of no communication.
Reportedly, she doesn’t even know where her mother lives in the present day.
Kailyn’s father
As far as her childhood goes, Kailyn revealed on multiple occasions that it wasn’t so pleasant. “…My dad kidnap me and brought me to Texas and tried to raise me there…” she said in a podcast episode.
The ‘Teen Mom 2′ star’s father has only been featured in an episode of ’16 & Pregnant’ once. (S2, E10.)
At the time, Kailyn made a trip to Texas to meet him.
When Kailyn arrived, the two had a brief chat and parted ways afterward.
Fans also thought that the episode was “really sad” & that Kailyn didn’t deserve to be treated that way.
