Kandi Burruss Gives Advice to Current RHOA Star

If you watched Season 16 of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” then you already know Shamea Morton had a rough go of it. She had been a “friend of” the series for several years, and this was the first season for Shamea to carry a peach of her own.

During the season, Shamea had rocky friendships with several of the ladies, and even her relationship with former bestie Porsha Williams appeared to go down in flames. RHOA OG Kandi Burruss is now sharing the advice she gave to Shamea, telling her that she “doesn’t need the show.”

Kandi Says Shamea Morton Doesn’t Need RHOA

Shamea and Porsha may be on the outs, but Kandi has managed to walk the line and remain friends with both of them. Porsha actually shared a clip of Kandi saying that Shamea is just fine without the hit Bravo series.

Kandi also went on to share some sound advice for Shamea, if she should choose to continue on RHOA.

“I said if she chooses to go back, then definitely don’t hold back on her feelings. I don’t really think that she lied,” Kandi said, while acknowledging allegations that Morton had repeatedly lied to her costars. She believes that Shamea’s flip-flopping on her feelings ultimately led to a lot of confusion amongst the other women.

The Conflict Between Shamea and Porsha Has Been Brewing for A While

Kandi also went on to discuss the conflict between Shamea and Porsha from the outside looking in. She believes that Shamea had had issues with Porsha for quite a while, and rather than addressing things, she kept saying that everything was fine. Kandi believes that if Shamea had just spoken up right from the start, there’s a good chance that she wouldn’t be in the same position she is now.

While casting for Season 17 of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” is said to be already underway, Shamea’s return is in question. There are unconfirmed rumors that she has been fired, and the reality star did post an apology video, taking accountability for any hurt that she caused during the filming of Season 16.
