Cue all the black heart emojis, because it appears that Katie Maloney has officially shared her first photo with her new boyfriend. The Vanderpump Rules cast member posted the sweet snapshot on Nov. 20, weeks after confirming she's in a new relationship.
Katie, more specifically, shared the photo to her Instagram Stories and in it, her hand is nestled up against what we can assume is her new beau's hand, as she tagged who she's rumored to be dating, Sleeping With Sirens band member Nick Martin. She didn't caption the photo, but included a black heart emoji which offers up more evidence about how she feels about the person in the photo with her.
Katie first confirmed her relationship in October on her Disrespectfully podcast, which she co-hosts with Dayna Kathan, declaring that she is "in love." At the time, she kept her boyfriend's identity a mystery, only revealing that "he just makes me feel really special, and he's really special. I'm just really, really happy."
When did Katie Maloney start dating her boyfriend?
In the same podcast episode, Katie didn't detail the exact timeline for her current relationship, but confirmed that she's known her boyfriend for some time. She also shared how they make their relationship work as he travels a lot for his job.
"I went to go see my boyfriend. He has to travel for work, so I went to go meet up with him, hang out with him, and spend some time [together]. And it was really amazing because I hadn't seen him in a few weeks," Katie said. "And just being able to spend some quality time and just be around him was just really necessary. I had a really good time."
Would Katie Maloney ever get married again?
As VPR fans know, Katie was previously married to Tom Schwartz and the pair divorced in 2022. On a recent appearance on the Brutally Honest Anna podcast, she dished about if she'd ever consider getting married again.
“If it means not having to get divorced again, then I will avoid marriage,” she said. “[Divorce is] really devastating no matter who asks for it, no matter how necessary it is, it is really just a mindf—k to go through that with somebody. But if I met someone and I fell in love and they were like, ‘I really want marriage. That is super important to me,' then I would do it for them. But for myself? No.”
For Tom's part, he recently weighed in on his ex's new love interest. "I haven’t met her new man, but I’m so happy for her," Tom told Page Six. He added that he was happy to "see [Katie] just thriving... I mean it. I love to see her happy."
