Kelly Clarkson, 41, continues to brush off compliments about her body after dramatic weight loss as she looks better than ever in form-fitting dress

Kelly Clarkson looked slim in a red dress on her talk show on Wednesday when she interviewed Hannah Waddingham of Ted Lasso fame.

The star has lost a decent amount of weight in the past few months since relocating from Los Angeles to New York City, but she will not say how she did it.

Often she is complimented on her talk show about how her body looks, but she brushes off the nice comments as she seems to not want to talk about her weight loss.

On Thursday she did it again after guest Taraji P Henson - who is promoting The Color Purple - said Kelly looked great in a green suit, while waving her hand toward Kelly's body.

Kelly moved on quickly with her interview as she seemed to not want to comment on her looks.

She talked to Taraji about Christmas decorations and their favorite Christmas memories.

Henson also said dancing in The Color Purple hurt her knees.

'I don't have Megan Thee Stallion knees!' Taraji said/

The actress had to ice her knees after 88 takes of a vigorous dance number.

Taraji shared the original 1985 film inspired her to seriously pursue acting. She added that she hopes the new film will break generational curses and heal families across the country.

Later Kelly sang 4 Carats from her first Christmas album Wrapped Up In Red with My Band Y'All.

Kelly has not responded to claims she went on Ozempic to shed the pounds.

Her divorce, relocating from Los Angeles to New York City, and wanting to be 'healthier' for her children - River Rose, nine, and Remington Alexander, seven - are all thought to be behind her decision to focus on her well-being.

'She is now in New York, and the stresses of divorce and those who talked about the toxic work environment at her show have really taken all the toll they could, and now her well-being and health are more of a focus for her and that improvement is now happening,' the source continued.

'She is making better life decisions and making decisions that are right for her and her family.

'Now that she is a single mom, she wants to be healthy for her kids and be around for a long time, so just like everything else, she has maintained her new life and her weight with a structure of doing things the old-fashioned way, through hard work.'

Kelly first flaunted her new figure on Instagram as she prepared for an appearance on Jimmy Fallon.

Predictably, fans were quick to comment on the sizzling new snap, with many questioning if she had used Ozempic - a medication used to treat type 2 Diabetes but also has a weight loss side effect.

Celebrities including Sharon Osbourne, Tracy Morgan and Amy Schumer have all used Ozempic.

Kelly, who won the first season of American Idol in 2002, also showed off her slimmed down form while attending the We Can Survive concert in support of mental health awareness on October 14.

According to a source close to Kelly (pictured left in March 2022), she likely had 'a little nudge from somewhere'

In 2020 she admitted that she felt 'more pressure' in the music industry when she was thin.

The Since U Been Gone singer said that she used to be shown naked magazine covers of women and told 'this is what you're competing with.'

'I felt more pressure. It was more of magazines shoved in front of you and, 'This is what you're competing with and we've got to compete with it.' I can't compete with that. That's not even my image. That's not who I am. That's who they are,' she told Glamour UK.

Kelly and her ex, Brandon, were married for seven years before they split in 2020, setting off a protracted bout of legal squabbling over money.

The divorce dragged on for a year and a half before it was ultimately finalized in March of 2022. It led to a brutal custody fight between the exes, with Clarkson eventually securing primary custody.

Kelly released a bitter break-up album earlier this year called Chemistry that detailed the 'good, the bad and the ugly' of her relationship with Brandon.

Oprah Winfrey has finally admitted she did use weight-loss medication for her dramatic body transformation - after previously denying she would ever take Ozempic or similar drugs to lose weight (seen left last week and right in 2019)

Also this week, former talk show host Oprah Winfrey revealed she took a weight loss drug to shed the pounds.

The host, 69, who has been dogged by rumors she was using medical weight loss aids for years, said she was coming clean as she was 'done with the shaming' after losing more than 40lbs in recent months.

The admission comes after Winfrey said she would not take Ozempic and similar drugs in the class of weight-loss medications because she viewed them as an 'easy way out' during a discussion with WeightWatchers CEO Sima Sistani.

She told People: 'I now use it as I feel I need it, as a tool to manage not yo-yoing' - but did not name the drug that she uses.

'The fact that there's a medically approved prescription for managing weight and staying healthier, in my lifetime, feels like relief, like redemption, like a gift, and not something to hide behind and once again be ridiculed for.

'I’m absolutely done with the shaming from other people and particularly myself' and added she had actively recommended the weight loss aid to other people before deciding to take it herself.
