Kelly Dodd claimed that Tamra Judge’s ‘quitting’ declaration is “fake,” and she’s “manipulat[ing]” fans for publicity and “attention.” The Real Housewives of Orange County alum also shared a past moment when Tamra “threatened to quit” but didn’t follow through.
Earlier this week, amid a cast trip to New Orleans, Tamra wrote an Instagram post suggesting she was leaving the show. When a fan asked if she was quitting, Tamra said “yes.” Many viewers believe the cast is challenging Tamra in the new season.
In an interview for Up and Adam, Kelly claimed Tamra’s quitting declaration is “fake.”
“Of course it is [fake],” said Kelly, and she then alluded to Tamra’s season 19 salary. “They’ve signed contracts. She has a million dollars at stake … She’s doing it for publicity. She doesn’t have a storyline. This is her story, and it brings people to want to watch it.”
“It’s all manipulation,” Kelly went on. “She has to go through [with] her contract. She’s already been sued before. Bravo could sue her, and then some … It’s just ridiculous that she even wrote that on there. I hope Bravo fines her.”
According to Kelly, Tamra is seeking “attention.”
“I think what happened was — she can’t take anybody criticizing her or coming after her,” she explained. “She’s the bully, and then when she starts to get bullied … she can’t handle it.”
Kelly said Tamra also “threatened to quit” during the infamous cast trip to Bali when castmates confronted Tamra over her actions.
“She couldn’t handle it,” said Kelly. “She said that she left Bali and was crying the whole way home … All because [a castmate] said she was insecure. I couldn’t believe it.”
On her own podcast, The Rick & Kelly Show, Kelly claimed that Tamra looks “pure evil” and like “Satan.”
“She does look like Satan,” her husband Rick Leventhal agreed, via @bravohousewives on Instagram. “Satan’s helpers.”
“She is a witch,” continued Kelly. “I can tell you … I’ve seen it.” The alum also dissed castmate Heather Dubrow.
“You have a plastic surgeon for a husband and you look like that?” she said, holding up a photo of Heather. “I’m so sorry, but that is not attractive. That’s my opinion. And maybe it’s because I know her insides.”
