Kenya Moore Confirms 'RHOA' Departure, Teases 'Love & Hip Hop' Star as New Castmember

According to JustJared, the longtime cast member, who first joined the Bravo franchise in Season 5, revealed during a recent livestream that she will not return for Season 17. “As of now, no,” she said when asked by a fan if she’d be coming back — though she left the door open for that to change.

The announcement follows her controversial exit from Season 16, which saw Moore’s screen time dramatically cut after a clash with newcomer Brit Eady. The incident reportedly occurred at the grand opening of Moore’s hair spa, where she allegedly showed sexually explicit content involving Eady during filming. As a result, Bravo suspended Moore from production, removed most of her scenes, and excluded her from the reunion taping.

Although she did not attend the reunion, Moore issued a public apology that Andy Cohen read during the episode. In her statement, she took “full accountability” for her actions and apologized to Eady, the cast, crew, guests, and the viewers.

Despite her absence from the upcoming season, Moore remains tapped into RHOA developments.

During the livestream, she revealed that Bravo is casting two new full-time Housewives for Season 17. According to her, one of the new cast members is a restaurateur and the other is a former Love & Hip Hop star.

Moore didn’t drop any names, but speculation has pointed to Slutty Vegan founder Pinky Cole Hayes and R&B singer-turned-reality-star K. Michelle as the likely additions.

While Bravo has yet to confirm the new lineup, reports indicate that filming for Season 17 is set to begin in late August 2025. Moore's future with the franchise remains uncertain, but for now, her exit marks a significant shift for The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
