Kardashian daughters True, Chicago, Dream and Stormi rock the stage at dance recital
Khloé Kardashian defended the heavy makeup her 6-year-old daughter, True, wore for a dance recital.
The Good American co-founder shared a carousel of photos on Instagram Sunday from True’s big day with her cousins Dream, 7, and Chicago, 5.
“My girls had their dance recital yesterday! Year 3 done I can’t believe they already have done three years of dance,” she captioned the post.
“Life is moving quickly. They did two dances this year- Ballet and hiphop. I am so so proud of them! They were absolutely perfect 🩷.”
Kardashian, 39, clarified that “none of our girls wear makeup like this regularly,” adding that it was “for the recital only.”
“They are beautiful just as they are. Yesterday was super special 🩷 memories for a lifetime,” she concluded.
Still, several fans took to the comments section to question why True and her cousins had so much makeup on at such a young age.
“Wow such strong make-up for children,” wrote one person.
“Lipstick on a child ,” added another.
“The face full of makeup is so sad,” opined a third user.
When one fan commented that it was “sad” Kardashian — who shares daughter True and son Tatum, 1, with ex Tristan Thompson — had to “specify” why her daughter was wearing makeup, the reality star replied that “people are cray cray.”
“obvi I would hope no one would do this normally to a 6 year old,” she added.
Earlier this month, the “Kardashians” star was slammed by fans for allowing True to become “the new face” of pajama brand Zip N’ Bear.
One user wrote that “a kid shouldn’t be working,” while another said Kardashian was throwing her “nepo kids down our throat.”
The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum gave birth to True in April 2018.
She and NBA star Thompson, 33, also share 1-year-old Tatum, whom they welcomed via surrogate in July 2022.
