The time has finally come. Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s mansion has been put up for public auction. It’s an unfortunate ending for the estranged couple who have desperately tried to find a private buyer for the last year. They put up a good fight, but their bank has finally pulled the plug. Of course, we’ve got all of the details on what happens next.
Time is up for Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann
Kim and Kroy have spent the last year fighting to avoid this outcome. Originally purchased in 2012 for $800,000, a recent appraisal valued their home at $5.5 million. They listed it for $6 million last year and have been slashing the price to try to attract a buyer ahead of their December 3 deadline.
Kroy claimed they had interested buyers, but Kim supposedly turned them away. Allegedly, Kim refused to accept an offer of less than $3.85 million. Otherwise, she wouldn’t “have enough money to purchase a home” of her own. Kroy asked a judge to allow him to force the sale of the home without Kim signing off on it. However, their deadline has passed, and they’ve run out of chances.
The Queen and her Corgis
According to People, Fulton County has officially added the home to its foreclosure list. It is set to “sell at public outcry to the highest bidder for cash” outside the Fulton County Courthouse. Meanwhile, Kim and Kroy have vacated the home and moved into separate rental properties.
So, if you know someone in the market for a 15,000-square-foot mansion that was featured on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, this is their chance. Situated on 1.78 acres, the ginormous house has seven bedrooms, an arcade, a pool, a wine cellar, a gym, and a whole lot of history.
