Kim Zolciak Reveals Where She Stands With Her Parents Amid Her Divorce From Kroy Biermann

The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum is sharing some major life updates in the midst of her divorce from Kroy Biermann.

Kim Zolciak has officially reunited with her parents, Karen and Joe Zolciak, amid her divorce from Kroy Biermann.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum and her eldest daughter, Brielle Biermann, recently took to Instagram, where they documented this very exciting occasion. This is after Kim and her family had been estranged from them for many years in the past.

In the photo, posted to Brielle's Instagram Story, Kim and Brielle can be seen standing alongside Karen and Joe, smiling for the camera, while out to dinner one evening. "Nana & poppy!!!!!!!!!" Brielle captioned the photo along with a white heart emoji. "Been WAY too long!"

In a 2017 interview with The Daily Dish, Kim explained why she had not spoken to her parents in a while. "I have not seen my parents in over six years," the Don't Be Tardy alum said at the time. "They recently just sold another 'story' to a tabloid, which is one of the reasons why I stopped communicating with them in the first place. I learned some people never change."

But, she admitted in that interview that she was open to her kids, including Brielle and her second eldest daughter, Next Gen NYC cast member, Ariana Biermann, having a relationship with them. "I will never discourage Brielle or Ariana or any of them to not have a relationship with their grandparents or whoever they choose to have a relationship with," she noted.

Kim also recently took to her Instagram feed, where she shared some major updates on her life as she navigates her separation. In the photo carousel, Kim can be seen smiling for the camera, hanging out with her parents, posing alongside her youngest daughter, Kaia Biermann, taking a selfie at the salon, chilling out with Post Malone, and relaxing at the beach.

Kim also posted photos of her out to dinner with Brielle and Ariana, as well as a sweet snapshot of all three of her sons, Kroy Jagger "KJ" Biermann, Kash Biermann, and Kane Biermann. She then took to the caption of the post, where she recapped all of the exciting things that have recently happened in her life.

"My last few months, forever grateful. I moved into my new house! I've had a couple of trips to the beach," she wrote. "My twins graduated 5th grade!! Can't believe I'll have 3 in middle school and KJ in high school. I spent time with friends. I spent time with family. I'm forever grateful for each and every single day. So many exciting things happening and I can't wait to share with you."

Ariana took to the comments of the post, where she showed her support for her mom. "Love u so much," she wrote.

Ariana also provided an update on Kroy's life today in an interview with The Daily Dish in May. Although she admitted that she "doesn't know" how her dad has been, she shared her hopes for him and his future.

"I haven't spoken to him in a little bit," she said, noting that she would be "speaking to him soon." "I hope he's doing amazing."

"I think it's really a tough situation right now, between the family, and it goes through its waves," she admitted. "But he lives in his own house, as well, so I hope he's happy I'm doing great."
