Kim Zolciak Speaks Out on Kenya Moore’s Exit From RHOA and Says She’s Open to Returning to Show Again

The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kim Zolciak has not had the best go of things in recent years. Not only is she divorcing Kroy Biermann, but the strained couple is also having severe money issues.

Now, the Surreal Life star is discussing Kenya Moore‘s exit from RHOA and her interest in returning to the troubled franchise as she believes Porsha Williams and Phaedra Parks could be allies. However, it seems the latter is only in talks to return.

Kim was also recently in the news as a date has now been set for her divorce hearing. Additionally, Kim and Kroy were given more time to sell their Atlanta home to avoid foreclosure.

While promoting Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets, Kim opened up to E! News about being open to returning to the show that made her a star. This comes after years of saying she would never return to RHOA. According to Kim, “I know Porsha [Williams] is back, who I love to pieces and absolutely adore her. She’s hysterical. Happy for her and love that she’s back.”

However, Porsha isn’t the only reason Kim would consider an RHOA comeback. She also says, “I heard rumors Phaedra [Parks] might return, which I would be totally game for, too, because she’s amazing.”

She goes on to explain why these two changed her mind about the idea. Kim says, “I’ve been saying I would never return, but as I’m talking right now, I might think about it because these are two very funny and light-hearted fun people. Porsha and Phaedra might do it for me. We’ll see.”

Still, despite changing her mind, Kim seems to have some reservations about doing the show again. For her, she says she’s all about being positive and drama-free.

“I’d have to seriously consider it. One thing that I just don’t do well with and never have is the negativity and the drama. I’m a pretty positive person. I love to laugh, I love to help people, and Housewives, at times, is extremely trying and very disappointing. I do have PTSD from a lot of my experiences on the show too that I’m working through.”

Kim then discusses Kenya’s exit from the show and how she’s always questioned her character.

“I was updated by another housewife on what Kenya did. I’ve always said that her character is heavily flawed. She’s where she needs to be at this point,” shared Kim.

While some fans of RHOA want to see Kim back on the show, many others remember how awful of a cast member Kim was after she returned previously. She abruptly left during season five of the show after being accused by the ladies of not participating enough. She later came back, but fans, and seemingly the network, were unhappy with her performance. Not only did she not take accountability for her negative actions while filming, but she also openly lied about the things she did on the show.

Fans can watch Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets on July 23 on MTV and other Viacom properties.
