Kirill Kaprizov gets a Fifth Place Vote for Lady Byng Trophy

   

Wild star forward Kirill Kaprizov finished with a vote for the Lady Byng Trophy. He wasn't the only Wild player to have received votes though. Marc-Andre Fleury finished ninth in voting, Jon Merrill got a vote, and so did Jonas Brodin, and Brock Faber.

The Lady Byng trophy is awarded to the player adjudged to have exhibited the best type of sportsmanship, gentlemanly conduct, and a high standard of playing ability.

Kaprizov, 27, finished with 46 goals, 50 assists, 96 points, 36 penalty minutes, and was a plus-11 in 75 games for the Wild last year.

But this year's recipient of the Lady Byng trophy was Carolina Hurricanes' defenseman Jaccob Slavin.
