Kristen Doute Accuses Janet Caperna of Trying to Be Like "Stassi" & "Lala," and Shares Where They Stand After The Valley Reunion, Plus Reacts to Jax's Exit

Kristen Doute shared where she stands with Janet Caperna after the season two reunion of The Valley, where she apologized to Janet for calling her a “wh**e.” Kristen also reacted to Jax Taylor’s exit from the show and revealed whether she still speaks to him.

Throughout the new season, Janet and Kristen feuded over Janet’s drinking accusations against Danny Booko. At the reunion, Kristen defended Jax’s estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, as she accused him of pushing her into bushes.

On the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Kristen addressed where she stands with Janet.

“We’re in the same place [as before],” she said, via @vanderpodrecaps on Instagram. “The thing is, we filmed the reunion early … when Nia and I were still pregnant … We were given all the episodes ahead of time, but you’re like cramming, like cramming for your final. It’s like, here’s 15 episodes in two weeks.”

“[After] watching the after shows now, there’s so much more that I would have said at that reunion, and some things I would take back,” she added. “And you’ll know exactly what’s what when you see the reunion, in accordance to, specifically to Janet.”

She then addressed what flipped her relationship with Janet, who was once her good friend.

“I don’t know if I really knew Janet ever or if she’s just changed. I don’t know if she was showing me someone that she’s really not, and this is the real Janet, you know, or vice versa. I’m not sure,” she said. “When we started filming season one, I’m like, who are you? This is such a different person than the person that I was friends with on so many levels.”

Kristen called Janet “attention-seeking,” and she seemed to accuse her of “slander” and “defamation.”

“[She has] this nastiness, the attacking, the holier than thou, and mostly, and I’ve said this a million times, but this, like, attempt to be people that I was friends with and that I filmed on my past show with. It’s like, you’re not Stassi, you’re not Lala,” she said. “[She’s] really just being a fake a**hole. She’s an a**hole.”

Later on, Kristen was asked about Jax’s exit.

“I’m stoked. It is the best thing. It is absolutely the best thing for him and for the show. I can’t do another season of Jax, like round 12,” she said. “None of us can … You have a couple of Jax apologists on our cast, and otherwise, no one wants to be around Jax. [I’m not speaking to him] at all. I blocked [him].”

“I’ve said [all] last year that the only thing I think that was going to really rip the rug out from underneath him is if he lost his job, or if he left the show,” she added. “Because it’s fame and it’s money, and those are the things that drive Jax Taylor. So I think that the best thing for him is to just take a break. Truly go into a facility for more than a month.”

But Kristen thinks the show would give him “an in again” if he proved for a year that he’s actually changed.

As for her own return last year, Kristen hinted that she was afraid of how fans would receive her. “I was stoked, I was ready,” she said. “But I was really afraid that people weren’t going to be ready for it.”
