YouTube star and Britain's Got Talent judge, KSI, whose real name is Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji, has never disclosed who is partner is until now
Britain’s Got Talent judge and YouTube star KSI has broken his silence about his secret girlfriend. The star has never disclosed who his partner is before. But speaking for the first time, he says they have been together since 2017 - and he evens plans to marry her.
He also reveals that she is “not part of the industry” and that they once split up - and he “begged” her to get back together with him. Speaking in the Now You Know YouTube series, KSI says of his mystery girlfriend: “She grounds me. She definitely tells me sometimes if I'm doing too much; If I need to relax and I need to chill. But it's good. I can talk to her about anything. And like, we've had our ups and downs, as all relationships do.”
Asked how long they’ve been together, he says for eights years, and that she does a “9-5.” He says: We have like a really sic dynamic, because she doesn't want to be in the limelight, she doesn't want to be known, she doesn't want to be famous or anything.
“She wants to just do her job, nine to five, and just help people. And I just think that's sic. It’s not part of the industry that I'm in so we can come back together after we both finish work, and then we can just talk about our lives and chill, and it's just nice. “And I can just, I'm able to just relax with her and like, it's not work or it's not hard, it's just super easy.”
He admits that hey once split up - and he had therapy to realize what he was missing before begging her to come back.
He says: “You know, when me and my girlfriend broke up, I was like, ‘I just want to be me. I want to do whatever.’ But then it got to point where I was like, ‘Oh, why did this relationship break down?’
“She was so good to me and everything was like, I just.. I just messed it up and so I was like, iI need to work on myself. And so that’s when I went to see a therapist… to really just zoom in on me and, like, to understand what I want, what makes me happy, what I desire, etc.
And then I thought about her and what her thoughts are and what she needs and everything. And it got to point where I was like, ‘ I need her in my life’. So, you know, I essentially begged her to be with me And, you know, I took a while, but eventually, you know, we got back together. And it's literally just been amazing. But it’s a rollercoaster.”
Quizzed about marriage, he says it’s something he’s thought of. “I’ve never actually seen like, like my parents do it or anything like that so it’s quite foreign to me,” he says. Kids too are on the horizon but “not anytime soon.” He adds: “I feel like we still need to just enjoy each other's company.”
KSI’s comments about his girlfriend comes after he wowed on Saturday night’s show. He was left shocked during The Tormentor's audition.
The enigmatic figure donned a hood and mask, concealing their identity, but it wasn't long before the truth came to light - it was his KSI’s brother.
The performer lured KSI onto the stage, playfully tormenting him with secrets about former relationships and then confronting him with his ultimate fear - bugs.
KSI reacted angrily towards his brother, even hitting his red buzzer and telling him to "get out", while the other judges applauded.
Speaking to The Mirror after the prank, a shaken KSI admitted he had no clue it was about to happen. "I was blind to it all," he maintained. When I got pulled up on stage, I just thought, 'Here we go. How is he going to torment me?'".
