Richards has starred on the Bravo reality series since its Season 1 premiere in 2010.

Kyle Richards is getting candid about the difficulties of potentially leaving Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The 56-year-old reality star — who has appeared on the Bravo reality series since its Season 1 premiere in 2010 — opened up about the topic while chatting exclusively with Parade ahead of her guest-starring appearance on Wild Cards

“As more time goes on, I did not think I'd be here,” Richards says of being on the show, which recently wrapped Season 14. “I remember thinking, year five, I'd be out. Here I am going on year 15, so of course, that day will come. It just depends on how I'm feeling at the time and if I can handle it anymore.”

Richards drew on her experience of being a longtime Housewife for her guest role on the police procedural Wild Cards, on which she portrays Talia, a “glamorous reality TV veteran.” However, she tells Parade that for her, acting as a reality star and filming a reality show are two totally separate things.

“It feels very different,” she explains. “When you're playing a character versus, you know, you're just sitting there as yourself. [It's] two completely different worlds. For me, I was just in acting, character mode, not thinking about that at all.”

Wild Cards star Vanessa Morgan, who joined Richards for Parade‘s interview, couldn't help but gush about working with the RHOBH star on the forthcoming episode, which airs Wednesday, April 9.

“I feel like  any woman my age knows Housewives,” Morgan, 33, tells Parade. “I haven't seen the past few seasons, but I used to watch probably the first few, and I was obsessed, and Kyle was my favorite one!”

She adds: “I was like, that is the best casting use for me. I told my girlfriends, and they were like, ‘That is so sweet.' But yeah, I love that show.”
