Kyle Richards Hosts Elegant Engagement Party for Daughter Alexia Umansky & Jake Zingerman

Kyle Richards hosted an elegant engagement party for her daughter, Alexia Umansky, and her fiancé, Jake Zingerman.

On May 17, the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star went all out by hosting a formal celebration for the soon-to-be married couple in the backyard of her Encino home, as seen in multiple posts on Instagram and TikTok.

Umansky and Zingerman will tie the knot in September in Aspen.

The Whole Umansky Clan Reunited for the Party

In photos and videos posted to her Instagram story, Umansky gave fans a look at her engagement party. The party was catered by Serving LA and featured an open bar and a DJ. There was also a large makeshift dance floor for the guests to show off their moves, according to BravoTV.com.  

The bride-to-be’s dad, Mauricio Umansky, could be seen dancing in one clip. Other guests included Lisa Rinna, Dorit Kemsley, and Teddi Mellencamp, per photos and videos Richards posted on Instagram.

In a video clip shared with fans, Umansky, wearing a white dress, thanked her parents, Kyle and Mauricio, who wore coordinating burgundy outfits.

“I love you guys so much,” she said to her parents, who separated in July 2023. “We wouldn’t be here without you guys today. This home is what it is because of you. I wanted to celebrate so badly here because of the home you made for us.”

Umansky then told her childhood sweetheart turned husband-to-be, “For 20 years I’ve loved you… I’m so excited to marry you. OK, now everyone dance your butts off.”

Kyle Richards Helped With the Engagement Ring

Richards has been involved with the engagement from the jump. In a 2024 interview with Parade, she revealed that Zingerman asked for her permission before he proposed to her daughter.

“And then he had me help him through the process of picking the ring,” she said. “And he was so cute, including me. I went with him to many different places to look, and it was just so sweet that he included me in that whole process.”

The Richards helped pick out was an emerald-cut diamond engraved with the word “Sweetheart,” as seen in photos posted by BravoTV.com.

Richards also revealed that she’s involved in the wedding planning in one big way. “Alexia is very hands-on. She knows exactly what she wants. She is planning like crazy. I’m just saying, ‘Love it! Perfect!’ She has a very clear vision of what she wants and, basically, we just have to pay for it,” Richards said on the RHOBH After Show in February.
