When Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump were friends, it made watching Real Housewives of Beverly Hills a lot more fun. Both of these women have main character energy though, so from Season 1 on, the accusations began flying. Among these digs, LVP allegedly planted stories, while others claimed that Kyle was trying to turn their cast against Lisa. After Season 9, Lisa walked away from RHOBH, but now, six years later, these two girlies are still at odds.
It all began again when Kyle and her husband Mauricio Umansky separated. Following this, Lisa commented on a podcast that ruffled Kyle’s feathers. Now, Kyle’s clapping back at her former costar, saying that she’s equally “happy to talk about” the troubles that might also be blooming in Lisa’s seemingly lush “backyard” as well. Call in The Backyardigans ya’ll, because this mess needs to be remedied, now.
What Lisa said
While appearing on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Lisa was asked “Have you ever known a castmate’s partner was cheating?” On this, Lisa replied yes. She didn’t, however, give up any names, or which of her series this naughty partner might have been located on. She did, however, use a nickname, which gave her little quip away.
To sum it all up, Lisa knew that a certain separation was coming. Even though this couple played their part well, in her eyes, the signs were always present. “Suddenly, they get divorced, but they’ve been saying, ‘Oh, love bean or my king,'” Lisa expressed, and right away, the facts were fact’ing. “Love bean” equals Kyle and Mauricio.
How Kyle responded
In her most recent Amazon Live, a livestream viewer asked Kyle about Lisa’s interview. “I’m so glad you asked that,” she replied. And then, Kyle went all in.
“It’s so funny how Lisa loves to do these kind of jabs and then does the, ‘I’m not saying …’ You know, this is always what she’s done. It’s very classic LVP, and I’m actually happy to talk about her backyard, too. I’d love to talk about that. So, if she wants to talk like that, then I would be happy to get into it with her about her side of the street. But I don’t think she wants that. And we’re here to talk about fun stuff. So if she’d like to, I’m happy to talk about some things about her, too,” she stressed.
Kyle also noted that Lisa’s words were “very inconsiderate and not nice at all.”
Your move, Lisa. Or Ken Todd. Our DM’s are open, to discuss all things “backyard” related.
