Kyle Richards is putting her family’s best interests first despite feeling “heartbroken” over her estranged husband Mauricio Umansky’s recent PDA-packed date with a much-younger model in Aspen, Colo.
When asked by TMZ Thursday whether she plans to spend the holidays with her ex, the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum, 55, responded, “I’m going to be with my family — my daughters.”
Richards, who was in Los Angeles at the time, pointed out that the family’s house in Aspen is also her “home” and that she plans to continue doing her usual activities there.
“I’m going to be skiing with my girls,” she shared before adding of Umansky, 54, “He’s welcome to join.”
Kyle Richards addressed whether she will spend time with her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, over the holidays.
“He’s welcome to join,” she said of her ex taking part in her Aspen, Colo., trip.
Richards concluded that right now she is just “enjoying” her “downtime” from filming and other projects.
Although the Bravolebrity put on a brave face, Page Six exclusively reported Thursday that behind closed doors she is struggling seeing Umansky living his single life so out in the open for all to see.
She was “hurt when she saw Mau kissing another woman for more reasons than one,” our insider said.
“Seeing Mau kiss that woman in Aspen — where he and Kyle have so many memories together as a couple — is especially hurtful.”
Richards and Umansky, who split in 2023, share three daughters.
The single real estate mogul recently went on a PDA-packed date with model Klaudia K, seen here.
The source said Richards was “particularly heartbroken” by Umansky’s makeout session with Klaudia K, 33, Tuesday because “this is the first holiday season they’re spending apart since he got his own place.”
We were also told that the estranged couple — who announced their separation in July 2023 but have yet to file for divorce — are navigating their split the best they can, but it hasn’t “been a cake walk.”
The source recognized, “It’s just a difficult time for Kyle, and she’s still processing all of these emotions.”
Richards was photographed running errands Thursday and appeared stoic amid all the online chatter.
The “Halloween Kills” star has had to brush her feelings under the rug before for the sake of her family.
A source told Page Six that Richards seeing Umansky kiss another woman “hurt” the “Housewife.”
“Seeing Mau kiss that woman in Aspen — where he and Kyle have so many memories together as a couple — is especially hurtful,” the insider added.
Last year, she spent time in Aspen with Umansky, once again for the holiday season, just shortly after the real estate mogul partied shirtless at a Champagne-fueled fête with Brazilian singer Anitta.
Richards and Umansky share three daughters: Alexia, 28, Sophia, 24, and Portia, 16. She also has an older daughter, Farrah Brittany Aldjufrie, whom the businessman helped raise.
These days, Mauricio is more concerned with “having fun” than getting back into a serious relationship.
“He’s a happy-go-lucky kind of guy and can’t sit still when it comes to dating and traveling right now,” an insider told Us Weekly on Wednesday. “He likes his freedom. Mauricio doesn’t want anything serious.”
Richards and Umansky often spend the holidays in Aspen with their daughters.
The former couple was married for 27 years.
However, the dad of three’s behavior is hurting not just Richards but also his recent ex Nikita Kahn.
The Ukrainian actress, who dated Mauricio for a few months and broke up with him just last week, told Page Six exclusively Thursday that the photos of him kissing Klaudia were “not easy to see.”
She said, “I wanted a committed, serious relationship, but he’s not ready for that right now. I left because I know what I want and deserve.”
