Kyle Richards will always be in Kim Richards’ corner.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star spoke to Page Six exclusively at Us Weekly’s Reality Stars of the Year event in Los Angeles on Thursday about how she is supporting her older sister after her relapse.
“You know, we are a family, [so] when something’s going on with one of us, we all sort of stick together and circle around each other and try to be there and lift each other up,” she said.
“So that’s what I’ve been trying to do,” Kyle added, noting that she and half-sister Kathy Hilton have led the charge.
Although Kyle, 55, admitted she would love to deal with it all behind closed doors, she acknowledged that is not a reality for her famous family.
“Of course, you never want to show the most difficult parts of your life, but I don’t have that luxury,” she explained.
The Bravolebrity, who won Reality Star of the Year, hinted that “cameras have been rolling” throughout the difficult experience.
“It’s unfortunate for me, but for the audience, they get to see that,” she said.
Kim, 60, reportedly fell off the wagon last month following years of sobriety.
Police were called to a Hilton hotel after the former “RHOBH” star was seen acting “incoherent” and refused to leave the property.
As a result, she was placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold, which is the legal involuntary psychiatric hospitalization of an adult experiencing a mental health crisis, for 72 hours, per TMZ.
After the episode, Kyle reportedly let Kim move into one of her Los Angeles homes before deciding to take more of a tough-love approach to the situation.
