Long before viewers got to go inside Kyle Richards' family life and friendships on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she was featured in another scarier (and fictional) version of suburbia in the iconic 1978 horror film, Halloween.
That first movie in the franchise first introduced horror fans to Kyle's character, Lindsey Wallace, who she has since revisited on the big screen in subsequent Halloween sequels.
As it turns out, RHOBH fans go to learn more about Kyle's experience on that first Halloween film during a sweet conversation with her Halloween co-star and longtime BFF, Jamie Lee Curtis. The RHOBH moment (which you can check out above) was featured in Season 4 and included a flash of a scene from the first Halloween movie, released all those years ago back in 1978, featuring Kyle as a little kid.
Who was in the Halloween cast in the 1978 movie?
In addition to Kyle and Jamie (the latter of whom played the franchise's enduring protagonist, Laurie Strode), the Halloween cast for the 1978 movie also included Nick Castle as the film's creepy villain Michael Myers, as well as Nancy Kyes, P.J. Soles, Brian Andrews, John Michael Graham, Charles Cyphers, Nancy Stephens, and Donald Pleasence.
It was directed by one of the most famous directors in the horror genre, John Carpenter.
Kyle has also appeared in 2020’s Halloween Kills and 2022's Halloween Ends.
Inside Kyle Richards' Friendship with Halloween cast member, Jamie Lee Curtis
Over the years, Kyle and Jamie have not missed the chance to gush over each other and let fans inside their friendship, which spans decades.
"You are a marvel," Kyle shared on Instagram in 2021. "Talented, thoughtful, kind, generous to the core. I so admire your dedication to whatever cause you put your energy into. Love you & grateful to have you in my life."
By the way, Jamie has been just as glowing about Kyle. Back in 2022, she wrote, "I've known her 44 years. She has grown up to be a really stunning human.”
All these years later, and these two both remain as stunning as ever.
You can check out prior seasons of RHOBH as well as several Halloween films on Peacock.
