Kyle Richards talks difficulties of leaving RHOBH

Kyle Richards recently did an interview with Parade, where she reflected on her experience in RHOBH. She initially believed that she would depart the show in year 5. However, she continues to be a part of the beloved series. But, she thinks the day she will finally leave the show is on the horizon.

“As more time goes on, I did not think I’d be here. I remember thinking, in year five, I’d be out. Here I am going on year 15, so of course, that day will come,” she adds. Reflecting on what keeps her going, she added, “It just depends on how I’m feeling at the time and if I can handle it anymore.”

She further explains how portraying a reality star and filming a reality show are two entirely separate things for her. She said, “It feels very different. When you’re playing a character versus, you know, you’re just sitting there as yourself. [It’s] two completely different worlds. For me, I was just in acting, character mode, not thinking about that at all.”

As a TV personality, Richards has guest-starred in numerous reality shows. This includes Vanderpump Rules, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, We Are Family, and many others. Additionally, she played various roles in renowned movies and shows, such as the Halloween franchise, Days of Our Lives, ER, Fantasy Island, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, among many others. Now, she is all set to play Talia, a glamorous TV veteran, in the police procedural drama series Wild Cards Season 2’s upcoming episode, which airs April 9.
