Former “Dancing with the Stars” professional dancer Kym Johnson Herjavec is on location working on a new project. She gave fans glimpses of what she’s doing and revealed she’s working with a two-time former DWTS contestant.
Kym Herjavec Is Filming a Movie With Gilles Marini
On March 28, Herjavec posted several Instagram Stories about her project. In the first one, she noted it was “Day 1.” She was in a dance studio that contained some Christmas decorations, and she revealed she was with “Dancing with the Stars” alum Gilles Marini.
In addition to tagging Marini’s Instagram page, she tagged the page of film and television director Marco Deufemia. His IMDb page lists numerous director, editor, and producer credits. Some of his most recent projects include “Christmas in the Wilds,” “A Christmas Exchange,” and “Love Alaska.”
In another Instagram Story, Herjavec posted a photo of her standing beside Marini on a sidewalk outdoors. She wore heels and a dark dress with a tulle skirt, and she had a trench coat over it with gloves on her hands.
She added text to the photo that read, “I can’t believe we’re making a movie.”
An additional Instagram Stories she posted showed that it was snowing where they were filming, and she admitted she had been hoping for snow. In another, she revealed, “Even @carsonkressley came to play.” Kressley was Herjavec’s partner in season 13 of “Dancing with the Stars.”
Gilles Marini Revealed the Movie Is Filming in Canada
Marini also posted a teaser of the project via his Instagram Stories. “Downtown Barrie Sunset,” he captioned one photo. The mention of Barrie indicates that filming for the upcoming movie must be taking place in Barrie, Ontario, Canada.
A second Instagram Story on Marini’s page showed him filming. “One more day,” he captioned the photo.
Earlier in March, Herjavec teased what seems to be this same project. On March 7, she posted a photo showing an airline ticket and a script. The script and the emojis she included hinted at a Christmas-themed movie.
Deufemia’s IMDb page lists two upcoming projects: “Hears Around the Table: Shari’s Second Act,” which is seemingly completed, as well as “Hearts Around the Table: Kiki’s Fourth Ingredient.” However, neither of those projects lists Johnson or Marini as cast members. It seems that whatever this project is, it has not made it onto IMDb yet.
“Dancing with the Stars” fans will be eager to learn more regarding the title and release date of Herjavec and Marini’s joint project.
