Lala Kent Reveals When She Knew About Brock Davies' Affair Amid Scheana Shay's Big Reveal

Lala Kent is still so close to her BFF, Scheana Shay, and her husband, Brock Davies. And now, the Vanderpump Rules alum is sharing what she knew about Brock's affair, which Scheana says took place while she was pregnant with their daughter.

Lala took to her podcast, Give Them Lala, where she said that she did know about Brock's affair, but "not for a while." Earlier this month, Scheana published an excerpt from her upcoming memoir, My Good Side, in Glamour, where she admitted that Brock had an affair while she was pregnant with their daughter, Summer Moon Honey Davies.

Lala revealed that Scheana gave her a heads up before the excerpt was published. "Scheana called me and said, 'I just want to give you a heads up, like, tomorrow this article is coming out with an excerpt,'" she recalled. "And like, 'I may need you to tap in.'"

"I won't share exactly what she said on the phone, because that's between she and her husband," she added. "But I thought the excerpt that Glamour pulled from her book was beautifully written."

"Every time I see him around, he is always very hands-on and on top of everything. He's a good father," she added. "And people can say what they want about his past. I certainly did. What I certainly know about life is that it doesn't always go as planned."

Scheana and Brock's close friend, The Valley's Brittany Cartwright, took to her podcast, When Reality Hits, where she shared her thoughts about the cheating reveal. "I hate that it's going everywhere," she said. "And I'm sure people are driving them crazy right now... I only found out about it like a month or so ago. So even her friends didn't really know about it."

But, she admitted that she is staying by Scheana's side as she has chosen to stand by Brock's side. "I know that Scheana loves him and that Brock loves her," she continued. "So mistakes happen sometimes. And hopefully, you know, they're healed from it. And that's why she's comfortable about it now because she is healed. So I wish them the best."

In the excerpt from her new memoir, Scheana admitted that Brock had a "brief affair" in 2020 while Scheana was pregnant, with someone he had known prior to meeting her. 

"As I sat there, feeling completely sick to my stomach, he admitted that — at the time — he was scared about being a father again, specifically about whether he even deserved to be, and he chose to deal with it by sleeping with someone else," she wrote. "I use the word 'chose' because it was very much a conscious decision. No one twisted his arm or dragged him to bed."

However, after the affair, Brock swore to Scheana that he would "never" betray her again.
