Las Vegas Raiders go straight to the source regarding rumor about top prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft

Many expect the Las Vegas Raiders to select either Ashton Jeanty or Tetairoa McMillan with the No. 6 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. However, right now, all signs point towards Jeanty at six.

There are a few different options, but the RB people are deeming as generational seems like he'll be wearing silver and black in 2025. If they don't go with him, the Raiders could target an offensive lineman, like Missouri tackle Armand Membou, who is considered the best offensive tackle in this draft. And, the Raiders allowed the fifth most sacks last year, with the two tackles giving up 40 blown blocks each, bad enough for the top ten in the league.

So, that's always a possibility. Then again, grabbing a weapon for Geno Smith in a guy like McMillan could really change the future of the offense. Whoever the next in line QB would be, they would have weapons at their disposal. And, while I'm more on the side of getting a wide receiver later in the draft, it would fulfill a need.

And, it's pretty obvious Las Vegas is at least interested in the wide receiver from across the desert.

According to Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports, the Raiders are visiting with Tetairoa McMillan this week, which means that they are interested in talking to him and seeing what kind of player and person he is. They have watched all of the tape, so they know the incredible things he can do on the field, but these meetings are more for the teams to get to know the players and see if they fit the culture.

And, for McMillan, you know the Raiders are going to ask him one question in particular.

Earlier this offseason, an older video resurfaced from when McMillan just got into college, at least that's what's being reported, of McMillan saying he hates watching film, and he doesn't watch film. And, at his position in the NFL, you just can't not watch film. At the NFL level, you cannot get by on pure skill.

So, I'm sure they will ask him his thoughts on that now and if anything has changed. I know Raiders fans all want to know.
