Leafs goalie Anthony Stolarz was largely very good again, albeit in a losing effort against the Bruins, but revealed that there's one goal he'd like to have back.
There were lots of positives to take away from last night's loss in Boston, but it's hard not to view last night as anything but a point lost rather than a point earned. The Leafs had scored 3 goals in the game and absolutely gave 2 away, which is a tough pill to swallow, having lost 4 of their last 5 games.
Head coach Craig Berube was surprisingly calm, cool and collected following last night's loss to Boston , and you could certainly see it with some of the players as well, including Stolarz, who continues to make some important saves in some key moments for the Leafs. During his post-game media session, Stolarz revealed, though, that there was one goal that he'd really like to have back -- the Kastelic goal, following a William Nylander blown tire in the Bruins' zone, which led to an odd-man rush, resulting in the goal.

'I thought I saw the puck really well again. I mean, obviously being 6'6', that helps, but you know, I'd like to have that third one back. I just took a half-second glance to see where their guy was and then he threw it back out front, so it's a quick game and you have to be ready for anything. But, I mean, other than that, I thought my reads were good, pucks were sticking to me and I thought my puck-handling was pretty good as well.

The Kastelic goal put the Bruins up 3-2, but thankfully, Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner were able to connect on a beauty late to tie the game with just over a minute to go, forcing OT and collecting a valuable point.
Stolarz may have surrendered 4 goals in this one, but with 2 being a direct result of mistakes from Nylander and Matthews, we shouldn't be too hard on him, especially since he's still boasting a 2.19 GAA, a .927 SV% and is a big reason why the Leafs have 4 wins on the season.
