Lexi Wood may be new to the “Summer House” cast, but she’s already found herself in the middle of some major drama—especially when it comes to West Wilson, Jesse Solomon, and Ciara Miller. Now, Wood is speaking out and setting the record straight on where things really stand between her and her castmates, what happened behind the scenes, and what she’s hoping to address at the reunion.
Lexi Wood Reveals the Truth About West Wilson and the Off-Camera Drama
In a recent interview with Decider, Wood opened up about a key moment that stirred up tension during the season: Solomon becoming visibly jealous—or trying to distract from the whole toe-sucking incident—over Lexi’s friendly interactions with his best friend Wilson. While things appeared playful on camera, Lexi revealed an off-screen comment that may have fueled the drama.
“Somebody else that isn’t even on the show actually told me that he was like [to Jesse], ‘Oh, why is West hanging out with Lexi more than you’re hanging out with Lexi tonight?’” she recalled. “And I was like, ‘What? Why would you say that? We’re all friends!’”
That offhand comment, she believes, may have made Solomon second-guess what he saw. “I think hearing that, Jesse was definitely like, ‘Oh wait, maybe they were hanging out too much,’” she explained. But according to Wood, nothing romantic happened between her and Wilson. “Honestly, there’s nothing there between West and I. Neither of us would go there.”
In fact, Wilson has echoed similar thoughts. In a video shared by Bravo’s “The Daily Dish,” he described the situation as frustrating, clarifying, “We were just friends. I was just trying to help Lexi feel comfortable and welcomed, and it somehow got turned into this whole thing with Jesse.”
The ‘Summer House’ Newbie Reflects on Ciara Miller, Jesse Solomon, andThat Awkward Touch
Another tension-filled moment involved Miller, Solomon, and Wood’s request that he not flirt with Miller. Soon after, Miller touched Solomon on the arm, sparking even more tension.
“A couple episodes ago, the girls said, ‘You need to tell him to stop flirting.’ So I did,” Wood explained. “And then she touches him. Then he’s like, ‘You need to stop.’ And then she’s mad at him.”
Feeling caught in the middle, Wood admitted she wasn’t sure how to handle it. “I wasn’t even there. I have no idea what’s going on. Should I say something, should I not say something?”
Despite the friction, Wood was clear about how she approaches these types of situations. “I can ask a girl questions, but I’m never gonna blame a girl,” she said. “It’s always the guy’s fault. It’s always the guy’s fault, let me say that.”
Still, Wood admitted that by the end of the summer, she didn’t fully trust Miller—not because of any one thing she did, but because the two never had a chance to build a real connection.“But I always just want to have a calm conversation with a girl and never blame her or anything. I think, unfortunately, at the end of summer, when I said I didn’t trust her, it was just because we didn’t connect that much because we had a force in between us.”
Lexi Wood Reveals a ‘Summer House’ Girls Group Chat and Reunion Expectations
While Lexi’s summer was filled with romantic chaos, she did form some genuine friendships with the other women in the house. “Yeah, we definitely have a girls group chat,” she said. “Lindsay asked us last week, ‘What are you guys wearing to the reunion?’ I was like, ‘Oh, this is what I’m wearing.’ Gabby answered. The other girls didn’t answer. So I’m actually so excited to see their looks because I’m sure they’re going to slay.”
As for the reunion, Lexi hopes to clarify what played out on and off camera. “I think the biggest thing that I’m hoping to address is just… why it kind of took so long for people to fill me in with the story about me and what [was] said behind my back,” she explained. “Even to this episode that’s currently airing, I had no idea that our relationship wasn’t perfect.”
