Lexi Wood may have made her “Summer House” debut in season 9, but whether she’ll return for season 10 is still up in the air. Following a rocky on-screen romance and an even rockier post-filming fallout, the model and reality TV newcomer is reflecting on what went wrong—and why she’s hesitant to sign up for another round.
Lexi Wood Might Be Done With the Hamptons (For Now)
When asked if she’d come back for another season of “Summer House,” Wood didn’t give a firm yes. “That’s a hard question,” she admitted in a recent interview with Glamour. While she made meaningful friendships in the house—especially with Lindsay Hubbard and Gabby Prescod—Wood acknowledged that returning means facing her ex, Jesse Solomon, again.
“I bonded with Gabby after kickball… and then Lindsay, I would say after me and her having those deep conversations at kickball, that’s when I was like, ‘Okay, you’re my girl,’” Wood recalled. She also shared that several castmates, including Carl Radke, West Wilson, and Imrul Hassan, have stayed in touch.
Still, the weight of her experience with Solomon seems to be the biggest factor influencing her decision. “At the end of the day, the exes that are in the house also respect each other,” she said—but it’s clear that respect may not be mutual in her case.
Lexi Wood’s ‘Summer House’ Relationship Imploded On and Off Screen
She called Solomon’s behavior “disappointing” and “disheartening,” revealing that she felt manipulated. “In front of my face, Jesse was very different,” she added, saying he was constantly pushing the relationship forward, wanting to spend time together nearly every day.
Wood also pushed back on Solomon’s version of events regarding her comments about his behavior on social media. While he implied she was controlling, she said she simply asked for respect. “There’s a more respectful way that you can do it than by making every girl feel like they could have you,” she explained.
Toe Gate, Red Flags, and ‘Summer House’ Reunion Drama Ahead
One of the season’s more talked-about moments—dubbed “Toe Gate”—was also a turning point for Wood. Solomon spent an extended amount of time in a bedroom with Hassan and two other women, which Wood said was “severely downplayed” on the show. “If I had all of the knowledge, then I would’ve probably made a better decision,” she said, suggesting the truth of the encounter didn’t match Solomon’s version.
Wood suspects Solomon had ulterior motives for how he acted on-camera. “The more Jesse talks, the more the camera is on him,” she claimed, pointing to his jealousy over his bestie West Wilson’s popularity from the previous season.
With the reunion approaching, Wood said she’s looking forward to “hashing some things out”—and it sounds like Solomon should prepare for impact.
New episodes of “Summer House” air Wednesdays on Bravo.
