The Summer House cast member is opening up about why her recent move was so chaotic as she shares photos of her new home
Lindsay Hubbard and her baby daughter, Gemma Britt Kufe, have officially moved into their new home! The Summer House cast member began to document her moving into her new NYC apartment over the weekend, but she ran into a few issues in the process, and she's revealing all.
The former PR professional took to her Instagram Story, where she opened up about her "intense" move-in weekend with her 5-month-old baby. "Oh my God, OK, when I tell you guys, like, this weekend was intense," she said, laughing. "It was so intense."
While the move itself was "great" and packing all of her stuff up was easy, things took a turn when she got into the new apartment. Especially because she didn't even have the help of her boyfriend, Turner Kufe, as he was out of town. "It's just been kind of a disaster trying to figure everything out," she admitted. "So that's why I've been, like, super quiet on Instagram...I just now got internet. I've been here since Thursday."

Although there wasn't any drama to be had during the move itself, it took a lot out of Lindsay, especially since she had been living in her previous apartment since 2022. "I'm a pretty organized person, but when you're getting to know a new apartment, it's been a bit tricky," she noted.
"But also this apartment, it's a beast, to say the least," she continued. "I'm so excited about it once I'm set up and everything's in its right place and has its home, then I will be able to enjoy it."
She later followed up on Instagram Stories with one more update on how she's feeling amid her move: "I feel more exhausted from this move than I felt during pregnancy."

Luckily, her organizers were able to come to the rescue and help with her new kitchen and dining room. Lindsay took to her Instagram Story on May 20, where she took a video, showing off the expansive eat-in kitchen, complete with a spacious center island, as well as her dining area, which is big enough to fit a very large dining table.
"Finally!!!" Lindsay wrote over the photos, showing off how excited she was to get things put in the right place.
Why did Lindsay Hubbard decide to move now into a new apartment?
Lindsay moved out of her old apartment because of her daughter, Gemma. She had been living there for three years before she decided to move to a new place in a different neighborhood.
"I love my apartment, but it's seen me through a lot of changes," she told The Daily Dish earlier this year. "I have to start making her and eventually put her in school. So that's the goal. Right now, the location is the most important for Gemma and what is best for her."
