The Summer House cast member told The Daily Dish why she's looking for a new home.
Lindsay Hubbard is making big moves in her life these days.
"I am apartment hunting for apartments downtown," the Summer House cast member revealed during a recent interview with The Daily Dish. "I love my current apartment, but it's seen me through a lot of changes."
ICYMI, following her dramatic split from ex-fiancé Carl Radke, Lindsay renewed the lease on the apartment she and Carl previously shared. She has since turned the apartment's spare bedroom into a nursery for her daughter, Gemma Britt Kufe, and made the residence all her own. Though Lindsay loves her current spot, she further explained why she is looking for a new place to reside.
Noting she is happy to start her search for a "new space" where she and Gemma can "start fresh," Lindsay added, "I have to start making friends for her and eventually put her in school. So that's the goal."
Lindsay concluded of her decision: "Right now the location is the most important for Gemma and what is best for her."

Earlier this week, Lindsay shared on Instagram that her boyfriend and baby's father, Turner Kufe, was helping her assemble furniture for Gemma as the little one continues growing. In the Instagram Story snap, Turner, who is more private than Lindsay, made a brief appearance while putting together a new high chair. "High chair assembly!" Lindsay wrote over the photo of Turner adjusting the chair's legs.
After the chair was assembled, Lindsay took another photo of Turner holding Gemma, who was dressed in adorable golf-themed pajamas. In her writing over the snap, Lindsay clarified that the furniture is for the future, as Gemma isn't big enough to use it yet. "Not quite there yet," she wrote.

Why did Lindsay Hubbard stay in the apartment she used to share with Carl Radke?
On Summer House Season 7, it was revealed that Lindsay and Carl paid $13,000 in monthly rent for the apartment. However, on a May 2024 episode of the Bitch Bible podcast, Lindsay explained that because she bargained a lower price for the apartment, it was ultimately a better financial decision for her to stay put. "My landlord and I worked out a deal where she actually reduced the rent," she shared. "Which never happens in New York."
She added: "I was crunching all of these numbers. I had actually gone to look at like seven or eight different apartments with one of my best friends, who is a broker. I love my neighborhood, so I was looking around my neighborhood, but I still need a two-bedroom because I have too much s--t for a one-bedroom. And it's New York. You just need space."
