Lindsay Hubbard Explains Why Boyfriend Turner Kufe Isn’t on Summer House and Shares Her Future With the Show

Lindsay Hubbard has been a hot topic over the last several months. This is thanks to season 9 of Summer House, her being a new mom, and the reports that she could be joining The Real Housewives of New York. Now, she’s opening up about why fans haven’t seen her boyfriend, Turner Kufe, on the show, as well as if she plans to return for the upcoming 10th season of the series.

As fans know, Lindsay, 38, is pregnant in the current season of Summer House, which was filmed in 2024. She and Turner, 36, welcomed a healthy baby girl named Gemma into the world in December, and many have wondered how she’d handle moving forward with the series after becoming a mother.

Lindsay recently sat down for a chat with Life & Style Magazine. She covered a plethora of topics, with one of the biggest being why Turner doesn’t appear on camera with her. Regarding the reason, she said, “You know, it’s tough when you’re dealing with a job in finance.”

She went on, “A lot of, you know, we’ve seen this. Kyle and I talk about this all the time. Even with our friends, our guy friends, girlfriends, who are in finance, they’ve never been able to film with us throughout the years. It’s a very strict industry when it comes to publicity. They are just not allowed to have any publicity.”

She then said, “So, I don’t know. I obviously need the father of my child to keep his job, and we know that I really need the father of my child to keep his job. So, we’re all out here hustling in every way that we can. So, who knows what that means?”

Additionally, she spoke to the outlet about her future with Summer House. She began by discussing her love of The Hamptons, which is where the show takes place. According to Lindsay, “I am a Hamptons girly, so I’ve been going out to the Hamptons since I interned in the city, and I worked in the Hamptons to make money.”

She continued, “I would always come back to Summer House no matter what.” However, she then explained, “I’m a mom now and I can’t live in a party house with my six-month-old daughter. I would definitely come back to the show.” In essence, this more than likely means she’s considering a friend-of role on the yet-to-be confirmed 10th season of the series.

In the meantime, fans can catch Summer House on Wednesday nights.
