Lisa Barlow began her journey as a reality television star when the first season of “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” premiered in 2020. Since she has appeared on our screens, Barlow has made the ranks of the most popular personalities on Bravo, with fans enjoying her career as a successful entrepreneur, her devotion to Diet Coke, and the iconic phrase, “Baby gorgeous.”
In an exclusive interview with EntertainmentNOW, Barlow shared what she wished said fans could see more of on RHOSLC and how becoming a Bravo star changed her life. In addition, she revealed her favorite moments from RHOSLC and which Bravo series she would like to join. Barlow also spoke about her partnership with Clorox and how the act of cleaning brings joy to her life.
Lisa Barlow Shared Why Cleaning Feels Good

While speaking to EntertainmentNOW, Barlow referenced that new research from Clorox is uncovering that the act of cleaning can maybe feel as good as other feel-good activities. For Barlow, that includes getting glam and taking her first sip of Diet Coke.
“I think there’s nothing better than walking in your bedroom and having everything spotless,” said Barlow.
Barlow also said that “knowing everything is in its place” … “really does feel good.”
“Especially as much as I travel, I love to go home and just know like my house is spotless and everything is where it’s supposed to be,” said Barlow.
Barlow also said that her partnership with Clorox is “organic,” as she loves products from the brand.
“I feel like the products are what they say they are and I feel like they work super well,” said Barlow.
Barlow also shared she particularly likes using Clorox Disinfecting Wipes and Clorox ToiletWands, as both products help ensure that her home is absolutely spotless.
Lisa Barlow Shared What She Wished Fans Could See More of on RHOSLC

While speaking to EntertainmentNOW, Barlow shared what she would have liked fans to see in the past seasons of RHOSLC that did not make it to air. Barlow said Bravo viewers have only gotten a glimpse of what she does while organizing events for the Sundance Film Festival.
“I think when I do Sundance, it’s a lot more than moving a chair. We do mega activations. And I think that has been super fun for me,” said the founder of LUXE Marketing.
Barlow also shared that she would like “a little more of [her] personal life” with her sons, Jack and Henry, “to be shown more.”
“My kids love filming and we’ve done some really special things on camera. But like Jack’s farewell call — like his mission call being opened, there was so much more that happened that night and we had a house full of people. And it’s really special,” said Barlow.
She also said she watches the RHOSLC scene wherein her eldest son received his mission call while he has been away doing his Mormon Church mission in Colombia.
“It’s nice to have those things documented too. I think it’s, you know, when I’m sad and miss Jack, I just watch him opening his call and like how happy he was,” said Barlow.
Barlow then shared that her favorite moments filming RHOSLC have included her sons, whom she shares with her husband, John Barlow.
“I think those things are really special for me. Taking Henry and Jack to the aquarium, I loved. And things like that, so that was super fun for me. I think there’s so many things that I love on the show. I love watching my family. Yeah, that’s probably my favorite things,” shared Barlow.
Lisa Barlow Shared How Being a Bravo Star Changed Her Life

During Barlow’s interview with EntertainmentNOW, she shared she did not realize how her life was going to change when she joined the cast of RHOSLC. She explained that she has “been in entertainment for a long time” because of LUXE Marketing.
Barlow also said she has enjoyed interacting with RHOSLC fans.
“It’s so fun to see the impact that the show has on so many people. Just walking around in Austin last week and having people say, ‘Oh my gosh, I’m a Sagittarius too. And I love this about you. And this inspired me to do this.’ I think that always feels really good. I think it’s just a lot of visibility into our day to day, which is kind of cool,” said Barlow.
Barlow also shared which Bravo series she would most like to join. The Vida Tequila co-owner said she would like to film in the Hamptons with the “Summer House” cast.
“I think I would have so much fun spending a weekend at the Hamptons with them. My very immature side would come out,” quipped Barlow.
She also said she believed “Summer House” star Paige DeSorbo would make a great addition to the RHOSLC cast.
“I think like Paige should definitely someday evolve into a Housewife. I would want to be on a show with her, I would love her on ‘Salt Lake’ … She’s someone I could definitely see evolve and like she’s so witty and funny and just so cute. I just love her,” said Barlow.
Lisa Barlow Shared Some Advice

During her time on RHOSLC, Barlow has not been afraid to defend herself. While speaking to EntertainmentNOW, Barlow shared some advice for anyone who would like to stand up for themselves but does not feel comfortable doing so.
“There’s times when I’m emotionally reacting, but I think it’s really important to tell people exactly how you feel. And to be honest with yourself. And to be honest with others,” said Barlow. “I think you can have more resolve in that. And I feel like once you do it once, it becomes really easy to do it over and over and over again.”
