Love Island's Alex Bowen has given an update on his wife Olivia's pregnancy, with the couple expecting their second child - and first daughter - later this year

Alex Bowen has provided an update on his wife Olivia Bowen's pregnancy as she nears her due date.
The Love Island pair, who found love on the second series of the popular ITV2 dating programme, are eagerly awaiting the arrival of a baby girl.
They shared their joyous news in February with a heartwarming home video and later posted a clip of their three year old son Abel unveiling a bear adorned with a pink ribbon.

While the due date remains under wraps, an excited Alex has given fans an insight into Olivia's pregnancy journey, stating: "Olivia's very tired and with the heat recently it's been a little bit mad for her.
"We've got air con in the bedroom and in the kitchen so she kind of drifts between each room so she'll spend time in the bedroom and when she gets bored she goes into the kitchen.", reports OK!.

"She's alright and doing well, I'm proud of her, bless her.
"I can't wait to have a little girl. We're very lucky to have a boy and a girl."
The couple previously revealed they were initially expecting twins but experienced Vanishing Twin Syndrome, a condition where one twin or fetus in a multiple pregnancy is absorbed by the body during the first trimester.
Speaking on Loose Women about their experience, Olivia said: "As soon as we found out it was twins I was already quite nervous because we've not had a great history of twins in our family but Alex was so positive.
"We went back at eight weeks and something happened called Vanishing Twin Syndrome. I'd had no symptoms, I'd had no pain, no bleeding, absolutely nothing to tell me that that was what we were walking into and I guess from that moment we were completely floored."

In addition to expecting another child, Alex is gearing up to flex his muscles in a bodybuilding competition.
He shared: "I'm actually competing on stage on November 9 in a bodybuilding thing which is something I've never wanted to do but my friend talked me into it.
"I'm pretty injured at the moment so I can't run and I was losing my head a little bit with training, but it's something to lock in and a process to go through every day.
"It is a mad time to do it when I've got another kid on the way but I like make things difficult for myself."
Olivia and Alex first crossed paths on the second series of Love Island in 2016 and have been happily married for six years.
They became proud parents to a bouncing baby boy named Abel in June 2022.
