Love Island star Paul Danan's cause of death has been revealed, two months after his passing at 46 shocked fans.
Paul became a household name after appearing on Hollyoaks before dipping his toe into the world of reality TV when he appeared on Celebrity Love Island in 2005.
The sad news of his death broke in January after years of health struggles brought on by addiction.

At the time of his passing, it was speculated that his dependency on vaping might have played a part in his death after he was issued a dire warning from doctors.
An inquest into his death has now found that it was a cocktail of drugs that proved to be fatal. The court heard that the provisional cause of death was due to toxicity from taking a mix of heroin, methadone, codeine, pregabalin, cocaine and zopiclone.

It's also believed that his benzodiazepine use may have played a factor. Alexis Camp from the Coroner's office also confirmed that 'no note was found' at the scene.
It was his partner Melissa Crooks who found him unresponsive at his home.
Paul's death was announced by Creative PR who wrote: 'It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic news of the passing of Paul Danan at just 46 years old.

'Known for his television presence, exceptional talent, and unwavering kindness, Paul was a beacon of light to so many. His untimely departure will leave irreplaceable voids in the lives of all who knew him.'
The actor struggled with his health over the years and with addiction including one to vaping that almost cost him his life.
In May 2024 he suffered a collapsed lung and was rushed to hospital.
He previously told The Sun on Sunday: 'She said if I ever smoke in any form again I risk being linked to an oxygen tank later on in life. She said that's it now.
'After years of smoking cigarettes and all sorts, it's the vaping which has done me in. That pushed me over the edge.'

Paul also battled an addiction to cocaine and in 2017 revealed that he was brought back to life after snorting heroin.
Tributes have been pouring in for him with Big Brother's Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace writing: 'Paul Danan... a friend of mine... I'm so shocked and heartbroken.... my darling man... I will cherish all our happy memories.'
'I can't believe this sad news,' wrote someone else while another added: 'The world is a sad place and you will be missed by those who loved you.'
Paul's full inquest hearing is due to take place on 28 May.
