LOVE Island's Harrison has broken down in tears and begged for forgiveness after his shock betrayal.

Viewers have been up in arms over the way Harrison has been playing with the heartstrings of some of the girls.

In recent scenes, fans watched as he and Lauren had sex in the bedroom, before he pulled Toni for a chat a short while later and made his feelings for her known. 

Fans were then left feeling outraged after a recoupling saw Toni sensationally steal back Harrison hours after he slept with Lauren.

Lauren - who was forced to chose Ty moments later - was visibly emotional.

Lauren was left sobbing after being blindsided by the twist - as Toni confessed they planned to recouple hours earlier on the terrace.

Lauren told the girls: "I am a f*****g idiot."

And in tonight's episode Lauren was visibly upset and crying about the betrayal.

A tearful Harrison begged Lauren to speak to him and eventually she agreed.

Once the couple were sat opposite each other he turned to her and said: "I'm very, very sorry."

An emotional Lauren then explained that she felt disrespected and thought their relationship was real.

Harrison with tears in his eyes repeated: "I'm sorry, please don't get upset."

After Lauren told him she felt like everything had been a lie, a teary Harrison replied: "It hasn't Lauren, you know how much I think of you."

He then went onto explain that things were difficult with Toni being there and that he didn't think he'd feel that way going back into the villa.

He added: "I just want you to know that everything I said to you was real."

Lauren replied: "It wasn't," before asking what had changed between them.

Harrison replied: "Nothing has changed about the way I feel about you at all."

An emotional Lauren then walked off and said: "It has."

Harrison then went off to sit with Harry as he said between sobs: "I feel terrible."
