Love Triangles Explode: Carter Chooses Hope, Ridge’s Fantasies Exposed!

The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Friday, May 23, 2025, is finally here! In today’s episode, Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) says goodbye to Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor).

Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) supports Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). Plus, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) just can’t stop fantasizing about his ex-wife.

Hope Logan’s Support

Let’s begin with Hope, who listens to Brooke yap about her destiny for the zillionth time. Yes, we all know you love and miss him, Brooke. (Make sure to check out our next week B&B spoilers, here!)

Hope suddenly says life is too short, which has the mother questioning her daughter. Hope covers and doesn’t mention anything about Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).

Brooke has Hope’s support in trying to get Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) back. Then, Hope is able to tell her mother that she got back together with Carter.

Ridge Forrester’s Fantasies

Over at Forrester Creations, Ridge is still with Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig). Even though Ridge is with Taylor, he’s thinking about Brooke.

Taylor yaps about how BRIDGE is part of the fashion industry, she understands and accepts, etc, etc. While that all sounds well and good, Taylor’s interactions with Brooke suggest otherwise.

Then, Ridge goes on a speech about how she showed him that life doesn’t have to be complicated or messy. It can also be possible to live a life without drama.

Taylor says this is going to be the best chapter of their lives. The minute Taylor leaves, Ridge is back to daydreaming about Brooke. Then, he thinks about his past with Taylor.

Carter Walton’s Confession

Over at the loft, Carter continues to tell Daphne that he got back together with Hope. The Nose isn’t taking it well and doesn’t understand what changed.

Carter promises that Hope won’t hurt him again, but Daphne believes otherwise. The Nose suggests that Hope is just using Carter again. Daphne reasons that Hope really wants Liam.

The Nose doesn’t want Carter to get hurt again, but thinks it’s impossible with Hope. She really doesn’t understand how things could have changed so fast.

Daphne wants to know what Hope’s excuse is for what Carter overheard, but he doesn’t get into all of that.

Daphne Rose’s Goodbye

Carter feels awful for hurting Daphne, but Hope is special. Carter gives her a special thank you to Daphne for friendship. The Nose basically says “see ya” and walks out.

A few minutes later, Hope shows up and happily kisses Carter. The designer knows that he won’t let her down again.
