Bethenny Frankel reunited with Luann de Lesseps last weekend, and now, Lu is mentioning it all to Dorinda Medley. You see, Bethenny and Lu just attended the same party in the Hamptons. To help their roads merge, Bethenny sent her daughter Bryn Hoppy over to her fellow Real Housewives of New York alum, for a photo. However, this gave off publicity stunt vibes for Lu, and a need for Depends for Dorinda.
You say reunion, Lu says rubbish
While appearing on SiriusXM’s Reality Checked with Dorinda Medley, Dorinda immediately speaks about Bethenny’s attempt at “bridging the gap between” herself and Lu. “We were talking about the fact that you ran into Bethenny this weekend and how that turned out,” Dorinda begins. Then, she joked about her reaction. “I peed myself when I was up in the Berkshires making some sort of lasagna dish and it came up,” Dorinda admits.
Lu laughs, explaining “Of course, I will be nice to the daughter, she’s adorable. And I was happy to see her. Then she took the pictures, of course. Emma Roberts is there. Poor thing, she’s innocent” Lu continued, going off course, as she does.
Jumping back in, Lu notes “These pictures are going around and I say, ‘Bethenny, will you send me the pictures you took?’ I said, ‘It was great to see you,’ and of course she doesn’t share the pictures with me. Of course not. She had to post them first and get everybody picking up on the thing. And then she’s got me blocked on Instagram. I’m like, ‘What the hell?’”
They end this topic by joking about how Lu used this incident to sneak in a bit of free advertising for her upcoming Cabaret show, Marry F Kill! Dorinda praises Lu, saying “With you saying that life is a Cabaret with tickets below. I was like, ‘That is my girl!”
