Luann de Lesseps Responds to *Those* Engagement Rumors: "I'm a Very Happy Girl"

Are wedding bells ringing for Luann de Lesseps? Some fans seem to think so.

The Real Housewives of New York City alum sparked engagement rumors after she was photographed embracing a mystery man in the Hamptons last week (May 30). Several days later, paparazzi captured Luann riding a scooter in Sag Harbor with a massive diamond on her left ring finger.

Luann de Lesseps confirms she has "a brand new ring"

Naturally, the PDA moments and diamond ring photos led some to conclude that Luann was ready to exchange “I do's” again; however, the Connecticut native played coy when pressed about the speculation.

“I will say that I got a brand new ring, and I’m a very happy girl,” she told Us Weekly. “And that’s all I can say about that for now.”

Luann has not shared any details about the aforementioned mystery man. It’s unclear if the two met on Bravo’s Love Hotel, a new dating series in which Luann and other single Housewives try to find romance among a group of eligible bachelors. The former Housewife told the magazine she “connected” with a man while filming the series, but said the connection occurred “further down the road.”

When she joined RHONY Season 1 (2008), Luann was married to Count Alexandre de Lesseps, a French entrepreneur with whom she shares two kids, Noel de Lesseps and Victoria de Lesseps. The pair divorced in 2009 after 17 years of marriage.

Luann went on to date Jacques Azoulay in 2010, but called it quits roughly four years later. In 2015, she began dating Tom D’Agostino Jr., a businessman she met through her former castmate Dorinda Medley. Luann and Tom tied the knot on New Year’s Eve 2016 and divorced just seven months later.

Luann has also been romantically linked to Harry Dubin, Southern Hospitality’s Joe Bradley, and Tomas Ribeiro — the Johnny Depp lookalike she met during a St. Barts girls’ trip in RHONY Season 5.

Does Luann de Lesseps plan to get married again?

The former model spoke about her romantic life in a 2024 interview with Us Weekly, confirming she was back on the dating scene and open to another marriage.

“I’m a hopeless romantic, so I love, love, and I love men,” she said. “You just never know with me. There’s no plan to get married again. But like they say in my song (‘Marry F Kill’), ‘Three times the charm. So, catch me if you can.’”
